It is well known that Iraq had not one thing to do with 9/11. Never proved yet Clinton is impeached and Bush goes unpunished

I was raised in NV. It's a state run by the special interests. No one in Vegas can have a lawn, but the casinos can have all the water they want, even though NV is in SEVERE drought. Vegas is the only real commercial center in the entire state, Boulder City is NV's only classy town, the rest is full of sleaze and desert white trash. The state is continental US's least densely populated. Why is Harry Reid your leader?

I am grateful they let the prisoners go. The prisoners spoke with the president and they thanked him for the good treatment they received. I have heard the president in interviews. He is calm respectful and seems reasonable. However I have also heard of atrocities done to women in Iran for protesting. Iran hosted the Holocaust deniers conference. They were ones who captured the soldiers in the first place. The president also said Israel is a cancer. Plus they support Hezbollah. I am so torn. What I want is for America to be able to say is, sorry for any differences we have had, lets work together to make the world a better place. I'm tired of the political rhetoric going back and forth and the propaganda on both sides. But at the same time, I want to be able to call evil when I see it. It should not be tolerated, but evil occurs in our country too. How can I make a decision when I am getting mixed messages. I don't feel like I can fully trust the US gov to tell me what evil is.

Everyone knows the reason that we were so prosperous during the Clinton Admin was that G.B. Sr paved the way so smoothly. Clinton just rode that good time wave to recklessly at our expense, that's why G.W. had such a hard time, he's fixing Clinton's mistakes. I actually heard this from a Rep, he wasn't joking. Some reps really think Clintons mistakes are what's screwing us now

and you were president, what would you do? Say they could have killed 200,000 with that bomb but they were forced to detonate in a suburb instead of a heavily populated area. If you've been watching 24, you know what I'm talking about.

What would you do?

And please don't give me "oh, they wouldn't have voted for it if they knew the six words about yellowcake were based on exaggerated intelligence."

They voted for the war because in the political climate after 9/11 they felt they had to look tough.

Infantry? I scored in the 99th % on the ASVAB. I got a 32 on the ACT and yes I guess that would make me smart?! I want to enlist active duty instead of going to college at this time. I want to be down there.

Anyways, I've been talking to my Army recruiter and he keeps pulling for me to go intel, I have no desire for that I want to be a grunt, I want to fight for my country, I wouldn't feel right sitting at a desk all day.

He told me that someone of my *smarts* wouldn't fit in, and he says I'd do much better as intel.

I thought they were desperate for grunts so why does he keep pressuring me to do intel when I'm a willing grunt?

Among the many popular Conservative fabrications, this one may be the most ridiculous. Only a simple-minded half-wit would believe that if we end the occupation of Iraq and redeploy our troops, all the “terrorists” will hop on a plane and follow us home. That anyone would believe this propaganda is incomprehensible. The notion that our military presence in Iraq is keeping the terrorists there is utterly absurd. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Are we really fighting terrorists in Iraq or are we helplessly trapped in the crossfire of a civil war? How do you identify a true terrorist and distinguish them from Iraqi citizens defending their sovereignty? If another country invaded America, would we not defend ourselves? Would the defenders be called “terrorists”? How does the war in Iraq prevent terrorists from coming to America? Where’s the credible connection?

You know that Social Security spending accounts for about half the total federal spending, right? I've known at least 4 drug addicts who get their fix from SS (taxpayers) Do you feel that your taxes should go to people who don't even pay into the fund? I'm sick of seeing my taxes go to support pathetic semi-handicaps, whose disabilty is in their own minds.

Prior to Bush stepping into office, it was Democrats who were the warmongers and internationalists with their war in Bosnia, attacks against Iraq, and intervention in Haiti, Somalia, and other places. By the way, look up the senate vote and you will see it was the Republicans who voted to take our troops out of Somalia. People like Tom Delay were saying such things as you can support the troops but not the war in Bosnia. That the Bosnia War was "Clinton's War" and that he had no exit strategy, etc, etc.

Bush ran on a "no nation building" and a "humbler foreign policy" because it was conservatives who believed Democrats had "overstretched the military."

This was just a few years ago. That together with the fact that FDR, Truman, and LBJ were all liberals who waged war (justly or wrongly) leads me to add this question:

What makes cons think all liberals are pacifists?

This wasn't what conservatives thought just 7 years ago.

He would of had to sneak a Demolition crew in prior to the implosion, not to mention scattering plane parts around the Pentagon, but thats a different story. He would also have to find a way to keep them all silent and have no witnesses in a town like NY. How can you say he is a Moron and still be able to fool an intellectual individual like Rosie O'?
