Well, Iran said they were NOT in Iranian waters based on the GPS coordinates that were send to Great Britain by the Iranians.
Iran then send different coordinates and changed their story some more.
Between the two, I think we can trust the British government more than the Iranian government.

It probably depends on who's map you're using. If it's the British/U.N. map, they weren't. If it's the Iranian map, then they were. However, the Iranians are probably going to claim that when I start swimming off the coast of Cape Cod this summer, I am violating their waters.

I don't believe this has been determined, nor do I think it will ever to a degree of satisfaction. I tend to believe they were not, since the Iranian leader has pardoned them without a trial. And by doing so has pretty much stopped the investigation.

To answer your question you have to trust one of both sides. Even if the Iranian leader is not "saint" who on earth can believe Tony Blur?

I will take the word of the GPS system that is capable of locating a person within a few feet over that of some rag tag navy any day of the week.

The general public will never know for sure because Britain would never admit it if they were in Iranian waters and Iran would never admit if they were not.

The trouble with politics is you never know for sure who is telling the lies. The reason for this is because you can't trust any of them.

All they are all doing is playing games with peoples lives.
