You know that Social Security spending accounts for about half the total federal spending, right? I've known at least 4 drug addicts who get their fix from SS (taxpayers) Do you feel that your taxes should go to people who don't even pay into the fund? I'm sick of seeing my taxes go to support pathetic semi-handicaps, whose disabilty is in their own minds.

Hey, buster, where'd you get the idea that Social Security accounts for half the total Federal budget? You go find the fool who told you that and smack him upside the head real hard! Knock some sense into him, willya?

Now, how do you know four drug addicts? You don't get to know such people unless you're one of them or you're a cop or a health professional who encounters them while on the job - and cops are NOT assigned the duty of determining a person's eligibility for Social Security benefits. If you were a licensed health professional, you'd know better than to ask such a question.

Yo - I paid into Social Security all my working life. You have no more right to complain about who draws benefits than I have. So lighten up: you're not qualified to judge people. And who knows - you just may have to start drawing disability from the Social Security fund due to an accident caused by your own screw-up. You'll sing a different tune then, dude!

I think that there should be an asset limit. Bill Gates will collect social security when he turns 65 and that's wrong.

Actually, I think almost all recipients (except for dependents) have to pay into the fund to receive payments.

You do not pay more than I paid over the years and I want my money back!
