The British Navy is armed. They were boarding and inspecting ships in a warzone during a time of war. They were (hopefully!) prepared for any kind of trouble, why inspect ships outside of BRITISH waters otherwise? Why did they let their sailors be taken without a whimper?!

Coincidence? I don't think so. Lou Dobbs slammed Sutton yesterday on his special edition. Want to hear something else that is sick coming directly from the Homeland Security Chertoff's mouth? Here is an excerpt from Lou Dobbs on March 26, 2007:

TUCKER: Now, papers obtained by the conservative group Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act from the Department of Homeland Security show that many of our security policies, in fact, perhaps have already been coopted. In fact, it quotes Michael Chertoff in memos internally telling the department to align itself with the priorities and the values of SPP when it comes to security- related matters regarding Canada and Mexico.

Source: CNN News. USA Newspaper. ABC News. NBC News. NOTE: Four years and the killings in Iraq go on and on. Into the 5th year now. All I see on T.V is the Army and Marines with a thousand yard stare carring their rear end in their arms. The insurgents are hurting the powerful Marines and Army everyday and making the Marines/Army beg for safety every hour they stay in Iraq. Time for the troops to come home. The war can't be won.

As you can see in the picture above, there is a woman holding onto to beams that were supposed to be so hot that they were losing their structual support and were about to give way to a very demolition-like collapse. How was this poor lady hanging onto almost molten steel?

Jefferson, in 1800 expressed his belief that "a single consolidated government would become the most corrupt government on the earth." Twenty-one years later he remarked, "Our government is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence."
If Jefferson’s admonition was valid concerning our national government — and it was — it must apply infinitely more to a centralized global government, considering the past and present makeup of the United Nations membership, the background of the communist criminals and conspirators who founded the organization.

Addressing the Virginia Convention in 1788, Madison stated: "I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations."

After all, the idea of secession from the Union was that the Union was going to force the South to get rid of their slaves. The South objected, so they tried to succeed.

However sick the idea of slavery may be, shouldn't Liberals embrace these people? They refused to listen to "the man", and they wanted their freedom to own slaves!

They were only showing their dissent to the country. Remember the Liberal catchphrase
"Dissent is the highest form of Patriotism"

Therefore, the Southerners were better Patriots than any of us will ever be! The Liberals should be waving the rebel flag to show their support for these noble Liberals.

Correct?

'Nuclear 9-11' Is Possible

Richardson: 'Nuclear 9-11' Is Possible
Wednesday, March 28, 2007
By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON —
Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson said the United States needs to do more to prevent a "nuclear 9-11," a threat that he argues has been neglected because the Bush administration has been consumed with Iraq.
The New Mexico governor said the United States must lead an effort to secure nuclear materials in Russia and dangerous areas of the world so they can't get into terrorists' hands. "If al-Qaida obtained nuclear weapons, they would not hesitate to use them with the same ruthlessness that allowed them to fly airplanes filled with people into buildings," he said in a speech to the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
"It took a Manhattan project to create the bomb," Richardson said. "We need a new Manhattan project to stop the bomb _ a comprehensive program to secure all nuclear weapons and all weapons-usable material, worldwide."
Asked why he doesn't support a nuclear-free world like former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and other Cold War leaders have promoted, Richardson replied, "I'm a pragmatist."
"I believe what the world needs to do is nuclear arms reductions," Richardson said. He recalled that it didn't work when President Reagan and Soviet Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev agreed in 1986 to renounce all nuclear weapons "for about 10 minutes."
Richardson worked on securing Russian nuclear weapons when he was energy secretary in the Clinton administration.
"Meanwhile, we are spending $10 billion a month on Iraq," he said. "Of the many ways in which the Iraq war has distracted us from our real national security needs, this is the most dangerous."
In the question-and-answer period after his speech, Richardson laid out the plans for his first days in the White House. The first day, he would get out of Iraq. The second, he would announce a plan to drastically cut U.S. dependence on foreign oil.

I just want to cover my butt against idiots but it's hard thinking up stuff that someone with the brain of an eggplant would think of using the product for. So far I have covered the basics such as "Do not insert into any orifice", "Do not use as a boomerang", "Do not use as a weapon", "Keep it away from open flames", "Do not use it as a floating device", "Do not eat", "Do not use as a replacement for a pacemaker". I'm still thinking, any help, there are too many idiots out there and I don't want to get sued for their dumb butts doing something stupid.

I've been watching CSPAN, and Congress is in the dark ages when it comes to audiovisuals, etc. They use these bunglesome posters during their speeches--haven't they ever heard of Powerpoint?

And the people on WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE can vote in about 5 seconds on ask the audience questions, while the senate roll calls go on and on.

It seems that they could get a lot more business done if they would just get a little more up to date.
Tradition is good but not at the cost of efficiency.
