I do not think it is a matter of ‘allowing’, but the law has not been changed. I am not in favor of abortion, but I can see it in certain situations. In cases of rape or incest, the woman carrying the child can develop mental health issues. They are forced to carry a reminder of the trauma for the pregnancy term. Although the result is a child, the emotions tied to the reason for the pregnancy are still there. I have known a couple of women who have been in this situation. One of them attempted suicide many times, and was actually did this past Christmas. It was sad to lose a woman over a tragic incident, but she did not want to have an abortion. It cost her life instead. Either way, it cost a life.
I also can see abortion in matters of medical necessity. They are forced to do abortions in cases of eptopic pregnancies or the woman will die. There are also cases where the woman has medical issues and the choice is between the mother and the child. While I cannot say that killing the child is good, the woman already has a life. It would be a difficult thing to choose the child over the mother. The child would be a constant reminder of the mother’s death. The child might also suffer from knowing that he/she was the reason for the mother’s death. In addition, in cases where the child is suffering from SEVERE medical problems and their quality of life would be a fate worse than death. We put animals who are suffering to sleep, but we allow people to continue to suffer in pain. It doesn’t make sense.
I cannot stand it though when people use abortion as a method of birth control, or choosing the sex of their child. Abortion is not designed to be an ‘oops I did it again,’ eraser. They have the day after pill to help with issues like that.

According to the Laws of the United States, the Bible, God, and most Americans, you are simply wrong. But I can tell you a fact that cannot be disputed. If a pro lifer counsels a woman to not have an abortion, he has caused the death of as many as 12 loved and wanted children. (click my avatar to read why). And if a pro lifer advises adoption, then he is responsible for the death of at least one child and the abuse of many more. So you are correct, there are murders (but by the pro life movement), but there are also mass murders. All of the mass murders are the result of the actions of the pro life movement.
I trump your 1.3 million that you lie about, with the 12 + million of murdered children caused by the pro life movement.

Shhhhhh...
That is 1.3 million less liberal voters we have to deal with every year. Now keep the liberal teachers from indoctrinating your kids and it won't be long before the Liberals, like old soldiers, just fade away.
Do you think that the Republicans taking the House of Representatives in 1994, exactly 21 years after Row vs. Wade is a coincidence??? Come on, they are eating their own and I, for one, am just watching.
BTW, to all the "blob of cell" freaks. If one human can be distinguished from any and all other humans, is not that human alive. A fertilized egg has a complete DNA profile. Any court in any land where people don't live in mud huts will accept a DNA profile as an absolute identification of a human being to the exclusion of all others. Nice try but you are way off base. Abortion is, as one person said, a medical procedure. Abortion has ALWAYS been legal in the US. Abortion "on demand", the procedure Row vs. Wade legalized is post conception contraception. You will make an absolute @ss of yourself to save a serial rapist, torturer and murderer from the electric chair, gas chamber or lethal injection. Well abortion on demand is capital punishment levied on a child for the crimes of other people.
Sleep tight Libs, you are on your way out and it is by your own hand.

Females didn't get pregnant by theselves. maybe we shoudl ask why so many people have unprotected sex. Then ask why so many men don't step up and offer to help support these children, instead of expecting the govenment to do it.
There would be no abortions if ever child conceived was wanted and loved. To soley blame females indeed shows you are part of the probelm, not the answer.
You need to ask: how can we make society a place where women are vaued, not used and where children are cherished and not disposable. Men can walk away from the choices that have to be made saying, "it's not my baby" and "it's not my problem" when that ceases to happen, here will be fewer abortions.

One of the most amazing things to me about people who are against abortion is that they are mainly males.
"Why Do We Allow Females To Murder 1.3 million American?"
What kind of question is that? Outside of the fact that it is the woman who is carrying the baby. Do you think that the woman is the only one who makes that decision? You don't think men tell the women in their lives to get abortions?
I have always been in support of a WOMAN having the right to say what she will or will not do to HER BODY. If a woman wants to go and have an abortion, it is her right to go and get one done legally.
Will I have to deal with that woman's decision? No, she is the only one who has to deal with her emotional scars, if any, afterwards. She is the only one who has to deal her choice. Telling a woman what to do with her body is wrong.
If the man was able to carry a baby and then deliver it through the smallest hole in his body, abortion would be available with drive-thru service.

For now that is the law and until people change our law it will happen. The right people need to be voted into office so the laws against the unborn are changed. We need the girls educated about their options and parents need to change so girls won't be afraid of what their parents will say if they do get pregnant.

The last time I checked it takes two to conceive. So, why are you just mentioning woman where are the men in this whole situation ??? Oh that's right they walked out. It is not a child it is not a child until is born. I'm sure if it were up to you we wouldn't get birth control, blood transfusions or vaccinations either huh???

I don't know why. I hate when people say unborn babies are dead, because if they were dead they would never develop into people with thoughts, feelings, and ideas. One day America will realize this is a horrible tragedy that has been going on for decades. Pro-Life not Pro-Choice. That's how God wants it and you and me too : )

A better question would have been "Why Do We Allow Females To Murder 1.3 million American, and yet a 95 year old with cancer can not end their own life with dignity?"

Because when the Communist Party of God wins the united states, justice will be served, and anyone who has committed murder in any form, will be executed, and yes unborn babies are human.
