As to the War on Terror being a farce,...was the bombing of the World Trade Center in '93 a farce to you?? 9/11 a farce?? Is the taking of American and British hostages a farce?? Beheading a farce??

No. If you don't remember 9/11 then you wouldn't understand why these wars are necessary. As for global warming, contrary to what its poster boy Al Gore says, the debate is not finished. There is significant evidence that shows the temperature increase is caused by changes in the sun, not from human interference. Mars is currently experiencing the same changes in its climate as we are. So, again I say no.

More likely humankind's undoing will be as a direct result of falling back on hyperbole so often to make a point that we eventually believe it to be fact, and can no longer make a point by using subtlety, whether we're intelligent enough to or not.

Bush alone can do little about global warming. People have to make the choice as individuals. We will begin to use alternative fuel sources very soon, at the rate the cost of oil is going up, we will have no choice economically.
