Let's say your degree in liberal arts or women's studies lands you a great job at McDonald's...which is plausible since, according to liberals, those are the only jobs available and the above mentioned degrees, though popular, are pretty worthless in the real world.

But I digress. Ok, you're at your job, enjoying your promotion to head "fry guy" when your boss comes up to you and tells you to remake an order of fries for a customer who happens to be a friend of his. Well, being a good liberal who knows the damage that could be done to the human body by those fries (drawing on the knowledge gained from "Super Size Me"), you refuse.

Now you have refused to carry out the duties of your job, should your employment be continued? Does your manager, who hired you six years ago, have the right to fire you?

Let me tie it together for you...the attorneys are you. They were asked to do their job by their manager (Bush). They refused. They were fired. Questions?

me and my Fiancee been working off and on different places for like 5 years now and im 20 years old and shes 21, and we first started out on our own when we were just 17 and 18 years old, we had to get Food stamps to help us with food.

Just recently we had to quit our jobs since the place was being closed down for repairs and we tried to get food stamps again but the place told us that even though we arent' working at the moment that we are not eligible for Food stamps...yes i know people that are Jacked up on Cocaine and other substances and they get like $300-500 worth in food stamps.....Why are we having to live off water for the moment?
We do work..just no one wants to hire right away.

my actual question is..why do the government not want to aid hard working people such as my self and my lady but want to help those that don't want to work and get a buzz every so often?

for alittle info on us....we both are non-smokers and non-drinkers, and no kids.

The forefathers of this great nation designed a system of checks and balances. We recognize those as 3 co-equal branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. The courts blocked evidence against Rep. Jefferson (D) because it was supposedly a violation of that separation since the FBI and Department of Justice fall under the executive branch. How then can the legislative branch regularly attack the executive branch with subpoenas?

This sounds more like tiered branches with executive below legislative and judicial...

They didn't have any problem going out of their way to find a way to impeach Clinton. Why can't we put Bush under oath and see if we can catch him in a lie ? Perhaps because Republicans are hypocrites ? I guess they will tell me that I should be concerned about the welfare of the country. That we shouldn't become distracted by investigations. Yeah, they will try to tell me that their above trying to take down a President just because they didn't like him.

What is the problem here? Why are people defending the Bush administrations, almost paranoid secrecy, on an issue that has nothing to do with national security? Bush fought the 9/11 investigations, when his own party was in control of both houses of Congress. When did conservatives become afraid of open government? I want to know what the hell is going on and I don't want someone to walk out of a smokey room and tell me. I want open government!

Am not including normal hiking and climbing..Am refering to those, that knowingly risk their lives climbing the highest or dangerous sites..most of whom are wealthy, spending many thousands of dollars on each climb, and at times with lucrative motives etc.. When they encounter problems, the various goverment agencies (completely funded by tax dollars) immediately become involved, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, using helicopters and the latest types of rescue equipment..as well as risking the lives of numerous personnel...and as news reports point out ,the search/rescue missions go on for weeks.. my question applies also to those such as a famous millionaire, who attempts traveling in high flying air balloons, to set a record, causing rescue teams to be involved.. they should be required to purchase insurance to reimburse any costs involved in their rescues., and failing to do so,should be required to sign a waiver of assistance or prevented from
doing as they please..

Fiance wants to adopt my daughter before we get married in September. Natural father left when I found out I was pregnant; he wanted me to abort, I said no, he left. Paternity was never established; putitive father registry never done; he is not on the birth certificate; no child support paid; have no idea where he is residing. Do I have to name him on petition and do I have to serve him notice by publication?
