We're still the majority but if we don't do something soon, we won't be the majority for long.

It won't be white vs black, that's for sure. Conservative vs liberal is extremely unlikely but slightly more probable. My bet is that if there is a civil war, it'll be the downtrodden masses against the rich, conservative and liberal.

Race war just isn't going to happen. White people are termed 'raceless' in America - for the most part, they have no idea of their race as a unifying factor, as they are in the clear majority, and have all the power; and the days of black radicalism are over.

I think you need some new ideas.

First off - a civil war does not simply have to be divided by racial lines. What if the civil war was between the rich and the poor? Would they win and make all of us working stiffs 'slaves' to the machine? Interesting idea but again, not necessarily racial issues have the most potential for inciting a civil war in America. Economic issues divide people more so than race.. so my answer is neither, it would boil down to which group had the most money to fight with.
RE: "We're still the majority..." maybe you are a little racist yourself if you identify yourself that way.

What makes you think it will only be whites on one side.

I don't think a civil war will ever happen, but if it does I am sure we will all ban together regardless of race or political affiliation. In other words it would probably be the majority of the population against the government.

Obama is 50% White and 50% Black. I don´t imagine that a second civil warfare can be a reality; per chance a "intrapersonal warfare" interior the yank society, yet only for few months. Lifes go on.

well since the majority of the people running this country are white then I guess pretty good. But really considering how the current government and past administrations predominately white have done such a horrible job if I were white might consider letting somebody else do the job I mean how much worse can they do then what Bush and his corrupt administration have done.

What makes you think there is even a remote possibility of a 'civil war' happening in the USA???

Why do you think there would be a war based on race? What history books refer to as the Civil War truly wasn't a war, instead it was the South simply trying to gain their freedom. And it had very little to do about race as it did about State's rights. If it were truly a war, the South would have been attempting to conquer the North, but instead they were simply trying to secede to rule themselves, something that they should have had the right to do so (Constitutionally anyway).

If we have a civil war, it certainly wouldn't be a racial one. It would be between parties, or be the legal immigrants and citizens vs. illlegal aliens (which wouldn't technically be a civil war).

Why do people always forget the different races represented in our polulation?!?
