From CNN

Speakers blamed congressional Democrats, too, for refusing to cut off money for the war.

"This is a bipartisan war," New York City labor activist Michael Letwin told the crowd. "The Democratic Party cannot be trusted to end it." Letwin said the key to ending the war soon is to bring more troops and their families into the protest movement.

I am a UK permanent resident having lived here for 17 years.
I was in employment, paid tax and pension. I own a house. However, I might have to return to Japan for quite sometime in order to look after my ageing and ailing parents. Is there anyway I can keep my permanent resident visa even if I'm away from the UK more than two years?

Most people say they should cuz they have really no need for pennies anymore. People drop them on the ground but don't bother to pick them up. Plus, they just serve as spare change.

I think they should not.
If they eliminate the penny that would lead to net totals rounding out to the nearest 5 or 10. that would cause major inflation and that I do not want. We have inflated enough.
Regular sized candy bars used to be 59 cents when I was a kid and now it's like 79 cents. If the penny was eliminated, the candy bars would be rounded to $1. then $1.10

Fox News briefly reported (03.17.07) on Congress trying to pass a bill that would ban websites from posting "terrorist propaganda" videos. Despite the supposed good intentions of the bill, wouldn't this be a obvious violation of freedom of speech as provided by the 1st Amendment? What are your thoughts, and why do you hold the opinion you do?

i totally agree with the people who say Obama should not be running our office of president, what type of country will we have when we let a man like this hold our highest position of office? none of the former living presidents support him, not even jimmy carter who is also democrat. thank god hillary is ahead in the polls becuase it will most likley be her vs. juliani for the US presidency. what do you think, and dont give me a load of crap about how good the man is, he may be a good man, but not the one to hold commander and chief of the armed forces.

So I've been wondering why so many people are against voting for Mitt Romney? If it's just because he's a Mormon that's a pretty bad reason. He's the best canidate the Republicans have by far, and he could very well be the best canidate over all. But he's still low in the polls, even though he has been creeping up little by little.

On the republican side he's the only legitimate canidate who has been faithful to his wife, and if a man can't be faithful to his wife can you trust him with your country? He has a good personality and appearance for a president. He also has an excellent presence and he is a very good speaker. He's yet to say or do anything stupid unlike some other "big" Republican canidates. Somebody give me a good reason why he wouldn't make a great president.
