Is the "dollar coin" something that is an exclusive, expressed, or implied power of the federal government???

I think it's expressed but I'm not sure.

Expressed.

But I wish people would take more interest in them.

Article 1 section 8 of the US constitution states: The Congress shall have Power ... To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures ...

I read that as an expressed power.

I'm not sure what your question is.

The dollar coin is being put out to replace the paper dollar because it lasts allot longer then the paper dollar.

I do not get the part about implied power?
