I lived with my roomate for over a year, and about half way through the duration of our time together, things started to get tense. He stained the carpet, the bathtub, and never cleaned up after himself or payed his bills on time. When we moved from one apartment to another, we all payed a deposit of 145. Two weeks into our stay here, I told him he needed to leave. He never paid the $150 in bills he still owed to us, and now he says he wants his deposit back. He was not on the lease, so the landlord can't do anything. He also left a mess in his room that I had to clean up. He also never paid his deposit from our old place, even though he caused over 500 in damages! I don't beleive I owe him his deposit. What do you guys think? Thanks so much for your input!!!

A couple of years ago there was a case, I believe in Texas, where a child was on artificial respiration and the parents were poor and on Medicare or Medicaid, and there wasn't money to pay for the artificial respiration via Mediwhatever, so the state wanted to pull the plug against the parents wishes.

What was the name of that child / case? I want to use it as an example in a discussion about difficult ethical issues but can't recall the specifics of the case.

For some reason I believe this took place AFTER the whole Terri Schiavo thing.

Why is it that Bush lied? Why isn't it Bush was working off falsse information?

Maybe people just throw the term "lying" around a little too much these days, but it's always been to my understanding that for a person to lie he must to be do it knowingly. So if Bush thought he was telling the truth... how does that make him a liar?

Or do you have proof of some kind that he knew there were no WMDs before the war? Link?

I am in the WI Army National Guard. I am being assigned to a new MOS and have been told to go onto my AKO account and look to see if there are any schools I could attend this summer. I have looked but can not find where this would be listed? Can you give me instructions on where to go and what to click on in the AKO website to find schools that would be available? The same with any other illegal activity (warez, bootleg videos) on the internet. Aside from someone witnessing the download and reporting the offender, how can the law enforcement find them?

I find it a little hard to believe that there are "black boxes" on the computer and that they watch everyone just waiting for an offense. If they did that, they would be able to catch EVERY criminal and there are probably millions out there. I'm just curious as to how they actually do it.

i read that sean hannity said in his book that he hated seeing congress interogate and criticize north for the iran-contra affair.

ok, is'nt hannity conservative??? i bet if some liberal guy sold arms to the islamic fanatics in iran, he would be up in arms....but apparantly its ok for a military hero to sell arms to terrorists?
