The Bullingdon Club, membership of which requires you to be very rich, is an Oxford University Club whose main claim to fame is their trips to local restaurants which they then totally trash for fun.

Having very rich Daddy's they can afford to (usually) buy the silence of the restaurant owner.

Is someone who was once a member of this club fit to be our Prime Minister?

I haven't watched much news lately...... can someone provide a link to the story ?

It's kinda puzzling.. . . .I have watched a 'fair' amount of news on CNN in the past couple days, but I didn't see one story about it . And judging by the little that I did hear/see on this site. . . I would've guessed that this is a huge story . Is it also true, that he fought cases for or pro-pornography ? Child Porn ?

......that suggest laws differ from state to state. WOW.
Is this true? How do these guys cope with that? In UK....it's the law of the land.....not the law of the state. I'm not saying one system is better than the other, and of course, the States is a much bigger country. I just wondered what y'all thought?

I will be adding more to this question in the "Add Details" link as I have more than 1000 characters to type here.

From the moment I watched the towers fall I knew something about 9/11 was not right. Buildings that tall do not just fall in their footprints, period. it just cannot happen based on the law of averages. let's forget all the technical details and just stick with common sense here.

Of course I am of the belief that our own government is responsible for 9/11 and the wars in the Middle east are completely unwarranted. But this is NOT important right now.

What is important is all of the information available that points directly to the real possibility that our own government has been constructing concentration style work camps for quite a while now. It seems unbelievable that evil on that level could happen here in the USA, but there is a LOT, a tremendous amount, of information available that points directly to that very real possibility. In fact, its a probability.

..and that, very succinctly, even those who APPEAR to accept them, are just leading us to believe they do? These people are Muslims. It is a strong religion with even stronger beliefs -- As strong if not stronger than Judaism or Catholicism. They number over 1.8 billion with numbers increasing daily. These people will never change unless they change their religion. Something they will never do during most of our lifetimes.
They are an ancient culture. Most Americans know little of ancient cultures. But perhaps it is time to learn more about these people, instead of allowing ignorance to rule your thoughts.
Just as they learn more and more about us, we have a responsibility to learn as much as we can about them. Otherwise, no matter what Bush, his cronies, or any other politicians do to try to convince them of a westernized society, the issue is all for naught.

My boyfriend is thinking about joining and I need to know what our life will be like. We've been together for 6 years and have a child. The only reason we haven't gotten married is because the timing hasn't been right. Either I'm in school or he is, or some other major thing. We are talking about getting married after he gets out of BT. Anyway, he would like to be stationed in Texas if at all possible. I would like to know what housing is like, how the Navy is, just everything. I have no idea where to start. Thanks!

There is some talk in the think tanks that it would be a good idea to:

1. Develop an alternative energy source. (we can and will do it someday)
2. Deport all Muslims who preach violence.
3. Leave all Muslim countries.
4. Close our borders to any further immigrants from Muslim countries.
Would this be a good idea?

Of course if you do not agree with the bush-supporters you hate America and you hate our troops and you want the country to be bombed attacked again.
This is how the closed-minded bush-supporters think. It makes me sick because I hate to see such intolerance from any human being.
