You will see to it that the terms of her will are carried out. You will dispose of her goods as she requests, pay her debts out of her estate and make any bequests (money grants) that she indicates out of her estate. You will put her will through probate court with the help of her attorney, or if she doesn't name one, with legal advise from any attorney you choose. The legal fees should be paid from her estate. If she leaves instructions about her burial or cremation, you will advocate for her to see that those instructions are carried out. If there isn't much money involved it's not a weighty task, but if there is a fortune involved get good legal advise. Whomever doesn't like their share of the pie will undoubtedly get legal advise of their own.

It's good that your grandmother has told you ahead of time and that she has a will!
The administrator of a will (some call it an executor) totals up the monies of the deceased, arranges for the sale of property and pays the final bills out of the decedent's estate (not out of your own pocket). There might be an insurance policy that will have to be claimed and there will probably be a list of property that is to go to certain individuals. The trick is don't give out anything of value until after the debts are paid and don't let the relatives take things willy-nilly from the house. You should get the keys to the house promptly after your grandmother's death and keep them.

If you are the administer of your grandmothers will that means you have to do every thing in her will. YOU have to notify all the relatives, make the funeral arrangements, see that all gifts she wanted people to have are given out & settle any property she may have left.Unless she says how much of her wealth you are to get for your services, this is all done for free.It takes about a year for the court to probate a will, longer if property has to be sold & devided.

It means that when she dies, you will be responsible to "apply" her last wishes, take care of her estates, distribute whatever money there is to whoever she says in her will that it goes to, etc.
