I come from a conservative family in Georgia. We are one of the wealthier families. I go to a private school, and we all drive SUV's. We live in a big house and have nice stuff.

Now before anyone says I'm bragging or any of that crap, don't.

Has anyone noticed that (MOST OF THE TIME, NOT ALWAYS) the liberals are the ones that don't have the money. It seems as if they're just jealous of the wealthier families. Also, where I come from, the wealthier families are the conservatives. Maybe that's just Georgia, but can someone shed some light on the subject?

In October 1999, a white man named Troy Knapp was attacked by a mob of black men wielding pipes and trash cans, while riding his bike with a companion in Charleston, SC. Knapp was beaten so severely that part of his skull and brain had to be removed, leaving him barely functional.

Witnesses told Knapp's family that after white police officers arrested a black suspect in connection with the shootings, someone in a group of people was heard saying: "Yeah, we are going to get us a white boy." Seventeen suspects were arrested and charged with second-degree lynching. However, local prosecutor David Schwacke commented, "We haven't been able to establish hate as a motive."

According to a Fox News report, Schwacke, "acknowledged that if it had been 17 white suspects and two black victims, hate would more likely be considered a motive." The report went on to note that, "Federal hate-crime law could apply in this case, but seven months after the incident the U.S. attorney's office in South Carolina is not even considering charges."

Many incidents that are virtually ideantical to this have occured across the country. It is time to end the discrimination. If we are all equal, then we should all be treated equally. You can see that Hate crimes against whites are not being filed as such. As the article mentioned, if it were a white on black crime, hate would have been considered as a motive. And 9 and a half chances out of 10 the courts would have said hate was the motive. We need to stand up against this discrimination against white Americans.

Obama is likely the Democratic front runner for president, but could he actually win the presidency? History has seen a handful of non-white presidential candidates, all with no chance of being elected. Why does this upcoming election feel different?

There's a lot of chatter from the cons that Clinton is the cause of all negative things that have happened to our country in the last 14 years. President Bush has enjoyed six years of a republican-controlled congress, and will have two more years as the chief executive. There was a republican president in office 12 years before Clinton.

What's the problem, Conservatives? If he's so much better than Clinton, why hasn't he fixed the problems? Is Bush just an inferior leader? Geez - wake up and smell the coffee.

I do, right after Roosevelt (Franklin Delano, not Theodore). We've had lots of fantastic presidents, though. Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, and Woodrow Wilson to name a few. Interestingly the WORST presidents of the 20th century (Coolidge, Reagan, and probably Nixon, though he really wasn't so bad, especially compared to Bush II) were all Republicans...

If muslims are peaceful people they should condemn the terrists that act in their religious beliefs. All Religious groups from Christian, Jewish and Catholic and all others condemned the terrist activites. Many of muslim leaders gave talks how muslims people were peaceful people. If they did not agree with the terrist why don't muslims say the Terrist should be condemnd. By not condeming them it makes everyone think mulims beleive in bombing.

Here's what I don't understand. The government punishes people for someone right? If someone goes and kills another person, the United States government will punish them according to what type of it was. So what's the difference with abortion? A child, whether it's still int he mother's womb or not, is still a human being! Within just a couple days of conception, human organs start growing, and in under a month, you have a complete human being. It's still to kill a baby, I just don't see how people don't see that. A BABY IS A PERSON TO!

We added my daughter to our policy a month or two ago and then I lost my job this month and wanted to temporarily take my daughter off of the newly implemented policy and go back to the old one. When I asked the GEICO representative on the phone if it was possible to go back to my old policy, she said she would check with her supervisor -- a few mins later she came back and say "sorry, no - because once your daughter got her license she is required by VIRGINIA LAW to get coverage".

So I asked, "does that mean I'm screwed" -- literally I asked that question and you know what she said ?

"That's right sir"...

...I think I'll be looking for a new insurance company tomorrow morning.

PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW GEICO USES BAIT AND SWITCH TECHNIQUES TO KEEP CUSTOMERS LOCKED INTO EXPENSIVE CONTRACTS WITH THEM.
