I do, right after Roosevelt (Franklin Delano, not Theodore). We've had lots of fantastic presidents, though. Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, and Woodrow Wilson to name a few. Interestingly the WORST presidents of the 20th century (Coolidge, Reagan, and probably Nixon, though he really wasn't so bad, especially compared to Bush II) were all Republicans...

Yes, I meant Hoover, not Coolidge. I always confuse those two. Hoover was bad. Reagan was bad. Nixon was nuts. Sad to say, Carter was ultimately a bad president although his heart was in the right place.

I think while Roosevelt did many good things to get us out of yet another repuglican depression, I think that Bill Clinton was the best. He left office with a surplus and everybody working and employers begging people to come to work. His was a presidency that really got the country moving in the right direction. You forgot Hoover in your list of duds. His supply side economic's caused the depreshion. Same with Reagans recession, and now Bush's all based on giving tax breaks to the very rich while leavig the poor and middle class behind. I will be so glad when his time is up.

What is this a list of your favorites?
Edit - NeoCracker, Clinton's lowest approval rating hit 37% during his tenure thats the same as Gerald Fords low and his high of 73% is only 2 points higher than Ford. And I have to admit that Ford's administration was nothing to be proud of.
Answerman there was no surplus. Their was a projected budget surplus based on some really ambitious economic growth projections, but the actual surplus wouldn't have actually hit until after President Clinton's tenure and the economy actual started slowing before he left pushing the projected surplus back more years.

Carter was by far the worst in the 20th century. You have to give Clinton credit, thanks to Dick Morris, he successfully took on a lot of Republican issues and made them as his own. The Republicans had no problem passing them.
But 2nd best, hells no dog.
Reagan, history will prove to be #1.

Clinton? All he did was ignore the warnings of 9/11, help North Korea advance in nuclear power, and abused certain interns. Other than that, I can really see why you think he was a great president.

Clinton was mediocre. All I can say is he didn't do any long term damage to the country like Reagan and now Little Bush.

Did you know that the things you hate Bush for ,FDR did and more? He put people in camps, suppressed the media, spied on people, went after dissenters. This is all on the net.
