At my former job we had a lunch provided by the store manager in celebration of Christmas a few days later. I asked if the food contained any of my allergies (pecans, walnuts, and mushrooms) and he told me no. I ate the chili without incident. When I ate the brownie afterwards I found there were a few walnuts in them. I spit and threw up what I had digested, but still had a reaction anyways. I went to the hospital for the rest of the day without pay. The medication was covered under worker's comp, however there is the issue that I lost work time and got docked for it. Do I have a valid lawsuit?

Look, I don't want to be seen as an "America hater" or "Traitor". Its just that everything that this war is supposed to be about is out there on the surface. Almsot everyone who backs it, speaks about the moral obligation we have to fight terrorism. But there is always an underbelly. Always. Maybe we are over there to fight terrorism, but you better believe that theres a few big bonuses that made the option that much more palattable for people with their hands in our governments pockets. Does this seem like an unreasonable theory?

Already today I've seen some 'questions' from users who are asking about the assassination attempt on Vice President Cheney . Theses 'questions' are not really questions. .. .. they're more of a 'harboring place' where users answer indicating that they 'wished' the Taliban had succeeded.. . . and in direct relation to the inference in the 'question' .

I, for one, think that if you 'wish' for our Vice President or President to be killed.. . . . Then you've gone waaaa-aaay off the deep end !!!
I also believe that posting hatred like that, only shows a LACK of CLASS and ZERO PATRIOTISM !!!

So. . . . How much CLASS and PATRIOTISM do you have ??

I have never seen or I have never had anyone come to me and ask me " How I feel our government is doing this week"? I think that the News Stations CNN, FOX, and others take a Poll themselves and come up with a percentage...How can you say that Bush is at a low of 36% this week and 49% next week etc.etc Who or where do they come up with this???

My girlfriend was asked, by her aunt, if she would provide her address for this man who is in jail, her aunt's husband, to his probation officer for when he gets out. I don't know if it's because he doesn't have a place to live, or if it's because of where his wife lives (she lives in subsidized housing) that maybe he can't live there. My question is, how much trouble will my girlfriend get into if the probation officer stopped by and found out that he wasn't living there? She has 2 kids, and doesn't want to jeopardize losing her kids. She is going to tell her aunt no, but she wants good reason, i.e. jail time, consequences, etc.
Also, what if a prisoner doesn't have a place to live, will the state find him housing?

I often hear and read that Canadians would readily move in or join the States if they could. However, after having spent five years living and working in Western Canada I wonder why a Canadian would want to be an American. Their standard of living is excellent, they have free medical care, their cities are safe, their salaries are high, and they have no racial tensions as a result of the socio-economic disparities we see in the U.S. I think that the only thing that Canadians could envy from the States is the weather in the southern states.
Which of the two countries do you think is better for the average person?
