To Ad-mit We Don't See Eye-to-Eye. .......

Shouldn't we all take grace at the fact that we all have our own ideas and opinions ??

Think about it for a sec. . . . . . What would you do with the time that you normally spend on here arguing with your adversaries ??

Is it the California Highway Patrol or the county sheriff's department? I know that every peace officer has full authority anywhere in the state, but I want to know who has the primary responsibility for unincorporated areas. Some county sheriff's websites say that they patrol unincorporated areas, and some don't. I have also heard from some sources that the CHP has this responsibility. If the county wants the CHP to patrol their unincorporated areas, do they need a contract or does the CHP do it as a matter of state law?
Thanks in advance.

PS I need this info for a project, I'm not trying to get out of a ticket or anything.

You see, my son-in-law has recently been deployed to Mosul, and every day I see new reports about "11 killed" or "14 injured" and I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where you can go and check the names of those people. I know sometimes it takes a while for word to get to everyone and I would like to know as soon as possible if something were to happen to him. I don't know if I am making sense to anyone, but I thought in today's internet world, something like this might have been created. Thanks for your time!

Over the past 50 years Communism has been the enemy. Why does the American government insist on democracy being the only way and why does the American government not take care of their own people before worrying about taking care of every other country?

Yeah, what a dick. Anyway, It was witnessed by my coworker, and reported to HR. Basically, the company is trying to sweep the incident under the rug. Anyway, should I shoot him or file a lawsuit or let it slide? It's still bugging me and it's been several months.
If I decide to file a lawsuit, what do I need to do? I am in California.

This may or may not be slightly different than previous questions posted, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

I know there have been various reasons given to join this branch or that branch (Air Force has the best technical training, Marine Corps has the best camaraderie, etc...). I'm not here to debate whether or not those distinctions are accurate.

I'd specifically like to get some feedback from those in the armed forces as to what went through their minds during recruitment as they made their decisions regarding their future in the military.

Feel free to comment on any of the following: basic training, education, pay, career advancement, pride, family legacy, travel opportunities, physical requirements, or anything else I missed. I don't presume to have included all the considerations.

Also, how does your experience in the service compare to your expectations before enlisting, with regards to the factors that influenced your decision to join your chosen branch?

1) Whats more important? The temp going up a whole 7/10ths of a degree because of the industrial age OR creating material, technology, and jobs for our country? Some how I don't see you working on daddy's farm til you die at the age of 40 bc we didn't have the technology to save your life from something as stupid as an off the wall infection.

2) If some scientists clam its the first time in history that we are having a climate stage change and its way too soon, Where are the whackos that claimed a climate cooling in the 70s? And if you don't count that... being that no one was alive to accurately document and geological era studies of our earth are theoretical at best, How do scientist really know what a climate stage time line really is?

What is wrong with Communism, Facism, even Monarchy? Why should democratic nations be so utterly against the development of other forms of government?

On nation wide rails transporting toxic/hazordous material through our backyards? Even if they don't de-rail, there is still a danger of leakage that can injure/kill people, animals and wildlife, not to mention contaminating our water. One of our news stations is going to be reporting on this tonight.
