I recently saw on the news that a 99 year old man just received his high school diploma. If that old geezer can go back to school so can you!

Check it out...

Funny you should ask. I was 36 when I started law school. Was not the oldest in my class. If you want to pursue a law career go for it. It will take about three years to get through. So in three years, after law school, you will be 38 years old. Now, how old will you be in three years if you don't go to law school? The point being if it is something you want to do, your age should not matter. A law degree is something that no one can take from you. Good Luck!

Definitely not. I've attended two top tier law schools (I transferred up after my first year) and have had classes with a number of students in their mid-thirties.

Also, from what I've seen, employers have been very receptive to older students. Especially if this is a "change of career" type move, I think most employers feel that the decision to go to law school was a rational, thought out choice and you will be willing to work hard for them for a number of years whereas most younger students probably just defaulted into choosing law school (myself included) because they didn't know what else to do.

It is never too late to follow your dream until you're dead!

I remember a Dear Abby that I read a few years back that made this point. A woman wanted to be a doctor, but she was 40 and thought that she was too old to go to med school. She wrote, "I'll be 44 in 4 years when I graduate." Abby replied, "And how old will you be in 4 years if you don't follow your dream?" Exactly!!!

GO FOR IT!!!! There are far too many of us who aren't following our dreams and many of us don't even know what they are.

No way!! Go for it, I actually found that when I went back to school as an adult I did better with my studies because I really wanted to be there. I really wanted to learn the materials instead of just getting by. You really won't be the only older person there, many women who are changing their career go into law.Good luck!!!!

No. My husband didn't go to law school, but he went to medical school. He started medical school when he was 30. He said that there were some student's there that were in their 50's. It's never too late. I think you should go for it. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

It is never to late to get yourself more educated. Never grow old thinking....I wish I had done this. Hey, 35 is young, most people are just figuring out what they want to do with the rest of their life at that age.

Not at all; I started at that age.

If you opt to go at night, you will see many people your age and possibly older in classes.

Follow your dream and good luck!
