You see, my son-in-law has recently been deployed to Mosul, and every day I see new reports about "11 killed" or "14 injured" and I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where you can go and check the names of those people. I know sometimes it takes a while for word to get to everyone and I would like to know as soon as possible if something were to happen to him. I don't know if I am making sense to anyone, but I thought in today's internet world, something like this might have been created. Thanks for your time!

In response to "pcpy":
Since I said my son-in-law was in Mosul, which war do YOU think he's in??? Also, I didn't ask for gory details, I asked for a posting of names much the same as the Wall in Washington D.C. And p.s. you don't know my life, so don't presume to know details about it that you can't possibly know.

Trust me, if something happened to him his wife would know ages before you could find it on a site. The turn around is really really fast. They usually don't rely information to the media with names until next of kin has been contacted. As long as her Deers information is correct don't worry. There are some websites

and

but like I said she will know before the media does

I found this on a site where the wounded were listed and this was the link for the casualties they are in alphabetical order. It says 2003 on it but there are more recent casualties too.

Excuse me; is your son-in-law in the Iraqi or Afghanistan army? I think this is a line of cra*. Your daughter would be notified much sooner than some media circus will post the gory details. Get a life and, if this is a sincere question, my apologies but I think you are just a scammer.

those names will not be put on any list until next of kin are notified.
