Bill Clinton enforced an excellent fiscal policy which eliminated the budget deficit and created a surplus in the country's national budget. Because of his outstanding fiscal policy, the Federal Reserve Bank was able to reduce interest rates, which, in turn, sparked the housing boom, and companies were able to borrow more money to expand their operations. In fact, because of Clinton, the economy was so hot that the Fed had to raise interest rates (in the last few years of his tenure) to keep inflation in check.

He taxed the rich - which led to the national budget surplus - and used the money to give the poor opportunities to work and get an education. As most people will agree, in the long-run, allowing the poor to work and get an education will, most likely, bring them out of poverty. With less Americans in poverty, more people will be able to spend money. More consumer spending means a better economy - 80% - 85% of the economy is dependent on consumer spending.

Here's a new idea:

Take your liberalism and hide it for the next 4-10 years. Stay away from polls or voting booths. We conservatives will fix the nation and hand it back to everyone. This way, you can keep your beliefs and we can get our nation back on track.

Think of it: we do the hard work, you reap the benefits. What's to lose?

I'm voting for one of these two in 2008. Which would have the edge? I'm leaning towards Hillary Clinton because I'm sure that Bill would help her with the presidency. Things were good under Bill Clinton. Obama I don't know much about but anything over George W..

This was taken from an Israeli news clip I will list the source in a moment.

Question Has Bush been more less lieing (again/still) to his own people - Now war with Iran etc

Report: Gulf states give Israel ok to use airspace for strikes against Iran
Updated 02/25/07 11:45 Israel time
Despite the Bush's insistence the US does not have plans to go to war with Iran, a Pentagon panel has been created to plan a bombing attack that could be implemented within 24 hours of receiving permission from the President, The New Yorker reported. Meanwhile, on Sunday a Kuwaiti daily reported that Oman and the UAE would allow Israel to use their airspace should it decide to launch preemptive strikes against Iran.

Michael Moore is right about the way things are in this country. Bush is an asshole who got us involved with a useless unnecessary war in Iraq. A lot of ignorant fat-cat stupid white men run this country while the majority of the population is unheard. Michael Moore is mking a new film called Sicko (which I plan to see when released) about the problems of the healthcare system. The comments from conservatives on this subject is extremely irritating, (such as if you don't have a job with healthcare it's your fault). Don't they realize that if everyone lived their lifestyle there would be no one else left to screw over? Also conservatives here are the accusations you make about Michael Moore which are flat out lies and are not true:
1. Michael Moore drives 2 SUV's (he does not and you know it!)
2. Michael Moore owns stock in every company he despises (this is so ridiculously untrue that it is laughable, Moore himself said he owns not a single share of stock.)
