This war was exceptionally badly planned and executed. The welfare of both the citizens of Iraq and not only the care and moral of the enlisted, but as things rapidly deteriorated, the chiefs were either in full Denial, running a spin campaign or a little of both. As recruitment numbers plummeted and quotas became imposable to fill, recruiters succumbed to despicable tactics. Kids were told they would not be going to Iraq, soldiers in Iraq have repeatedly been forced to stay after they have served their time. Some have been called back for their 4th and now even5th tours of duty and are quite frankly losing their sanity, or refusing to go back. Judges are offering violent felons the chance to serve in Iraq instead of 20 to life. So these fellows given weapons and no rules are raping and killing with impunity...Mary

America abides by the rules of war, meaning we don't rape women and children or harm the innocent, in anyway, although unintentionally, it can happen. If these men committed atrocities, against the rules of engagement, or have committed a crime against humanity, they will be made accountable. America is one of the few countries who do this, and rightly so. War doesn't mean a person is free to reek havoc on anyone they are fighting with, or for.
Don't worry, these folks will get a fair trial, and if innocent, they will be set free. I love our soldier's, too.

There are scores of men and women and teens who are in jails and prison and juvinile halls across America who have never been to Iraq or fought any wars.

So what its it you're trying to point out in light of these facts?

How many is "so many", my friend? There are fewer than thirty at present. Of much more concern to me - and it should be of concern to all good citizens - is the abysmal state of medical care for those who've been injured physically and mentally while serving on active duty. To coin a phrase - it sucks! And that needs correcting NOW!
