Kaley, dear, you are hanging out with the wrong crowd....Get away from those people before you get seriously hurt....

There are good and decent boys and men out there who won't mistreat you and your friends.

You can get a restraining order to keep him away....But, I would fill out a police report about him cutting you with a knife and get the bast*** arrested.

Get help immediately, at least file for a restraining order for starters...having a weapon such as a gun will get you in trouble but having pepper spray handy makes sense.
Most importantly, keep people (friends, family, etc.) around the house when possible (to help defend you and be witnesses should the ex try his act again) WHILE the police handle the process of restraining orders and arresting the ex...and to be there to take pictures and such should he attempt anything violent as evidence.
I know, calling the cops is just the obvious answer...realistically you have to defend yourself for a bit before they gather enough evidence...but DO request an officer in the area be prepared to come to your house ASAP at virtually all times soon as the ex tries again...that way he'll be more likely to be either caught in the act and quickly punished if he does arrive. Also let him know the police are on call and your family/friends are on guard if he ever has contact with you, but don't say anything else.

I'd suggest that your former bf is doing you a favor by letting you know that you have been leading a dangerous sort of life, and that your taste in men could perhaps use some alteration before the next one simply kills you outright. Women love outlaws, and apparently you've developed a taste for them.

In the meantime, let the police know, and fill out the stuff for the restraining order, just like you've probably done before and will likely do again.

Notify the police and take out a restraining order! He sounds abusive and you must have seen signs during your relationship, domestic abuse is a serious issue that need addressing without hesitation. Good Luck!

Call the police and file a police report. They can issue you a temporary emergency order of protection.

Make sure to take pictures and document any injuries for your own records and make sure the police officers take their own pictures for the report.

First of all, you call the cops, period. Just call. Second, you quit dating until you have your head examined. Obviously you don't have a bit of sense about you at all.
