I did shake his hand a few years ago. My mother worked in his office when he was Governor of Georgia. He was teaching a Sunday School class in Plains, Ga and she wanted to go see him. She used to think he was a good man but a lousy politician and not smart enough to be a good one. Anyway I shook his hand and it was very week; so strengh and it was clammy. Ick.

I'd make Carter stand in line for an hour to shake my hand.

No way! When I think back to all of the things he did to screw up this country... Panama Canal, B1 Bomber VS MX Missile System, Shaw of Iran, my squadron buddies getting killed in the desert of Iran, long lines at the gas pumps, terrorist hi-jackings, failed domestic and foreign policies... Constant "freezing" of interest rates to try and minimize the inflation his policies caused... Shake his hand? And stand in line for how long to do it?!! I'd rather have a bad case of diarrhea.

Yes, yes, yes. He is a good and gentle man. I believe he was the only truly honest man that ever held the office of President. He is the only ex-president that has done anything worthwhile after leaving office.
I love how he describes himself as a Sunday School Teacher.......

Sure, why not. I may not have agreed with his politics but I've always thought his was a pretty decent guy. He's actually a very interesting person.

Uhmmm!?........No! Not unless, I was allowed to squeeze his hand really really hard and make him drop to his knees and cry like the sissy-boy he is.
