Canadian member of parliament presently make about $147,700 a year. However, the Prime Minister makes double of a regular MP, so gets $295,400. Plus he gets a $2122 allowance for a car.
Cabinet minister get about $218,500, plus the $2122 car allowance, as does the Leader of the Opposition.
The last few answers were using old data from a couple of years ago. The raises that they get each year are automatic, based on a scale which goes up each year. They have not voted themselves a 25% pay raise recently. (There was something like that in Ontario government, not federal.)
The site I list below also shows historical salaries, so you can tell when the raises occured. You can also figure out, by the year, which governments gave themselves a benefit in payments.

Whatever it is, it is to much. I love how most Canadians can not afford to live but he can boost his and his fellow Mp'S ( all parties included) to a 25% raise, he is nothing more then a travesty to Canada and a JOKE. the sooner he is out of office the better.
