I went to the bathroom last night an nearly fell into the toilet. I know it wasn't my significant life partner because he/she hasn't had any need to leave it up since the operation. Am I right in suspecting George Bush was somehow responsible, or was it someone else in his corrupt adminisitration?

I feel that this would be a safegaurd against amendments that are farmful ,or not effective.Example the 21st amendment had to be made in order to repeal the 18th amendment.I would personaly like to see the 16th amendment repealed.

Yahoo News is reporting that this year's "gift bags" given to celebrities attending Sunday's Academy Awards are valued at $71,000. In past years when these "gifts" have been scaled back, celebrities have complained about not "getting anything." Yet, aren't many of these the same folks who preach to the us ordinary folks about socialist ideals?

Iraq's not near to being secure. The armed forces are barely filling their recruiting quotas. The public is overwhemingly opposed to Iraq. The national debt is reaching $9,000,000,000,000. Iran's army is much tougher than Iraq's insurgents. They are not a direct threat. Time to wake up, GI Joes.

i was just placed on probation for alcohol today.. tonight there was supposed to be a party that involves drinking however no driving.. my questionis if someone is put on probation for alcohol do they test for that some how? is that even possible.. if so. how long does alcohol stay in the system?

They are obviously getting rich off this war, Putting are troops in harms way for no end result, and lying to the nation to get rich from rebuilding Iraq and its oil fields (Halburton).I just read a report on Yahoo news about troops saying this war isnt worth the effort and it should end. This was 15 year Veteran Sargeant that said this.

Seriously, when you look at it, is the US army really suited to fighting terrorists or rogue states? When you look at the American forces, they look like they are going to fight a modern version of WWII or the Cold War! Seriously, I mean, why do you need:

- 12 carrier battle groups
- support 3 fighter groups (like the f-22 or f-35 is ever going to lure mujahadeens out of the street or the mountain or the desert)
- 50 nuclear attack submarines and a dozen ballistic missile subs
- about 5000 tanks
- training tactics for "high-intensity war"
- thousands of air superiority fighters, and dozens, if not hundreds of heave bombers

Is that really the best options to fight terrorism, which the Bush administration repeatedly declares it top priority? What could they be doing better right now? I mean, that does not seem like the best option for counter-guerilla warfare.

There was an American documentary shown on Australian television that shows unequivocal evidence from unedited TV news films and other sources that the Pentsgon was not hit by a highjacked jumbo passenger jet but by a cruise missile. There are also serious problems with the official description as to the attack at the twin towers (strange attachments under planes etc). Is this information widely known in the US? Is there any kind of furor about this? Is there any kind of objective enquiry planned by the new congress?
Terrorists don't have access to cruise missiles, only a few countries do. If I was an American I would certainly want to know who fired a missile at the countries military HQ and not accept a whitewash that is obviously untruthful. Any links to further information would be greatly appreciated

Company in Nigeria. I have an address but have a hard time find answers. Can any one explain to me what happens if your international passport expires. If you send a package over seas what happens. I was told at the post office once the package leaves the USA that it is a free for all. I sent a package over seas and was told that there was something in it and know they are proscuting this person for it. I have never in my entire life ever done anything like that. I'm a clean person. I like to work out & a health nut. Can you please tell me if I've been scammed. If so I do I go about reporting this.

On 1 vs 100 game show tonight, 38 out of 80 missed that the jackass is the symbol of the Democratic Party. Do you think these people are smart enough to vote? They do not bother to know even basic information about the political party, then how can we trust them to know who they vote for. Too many people vote for a party not a canidate or even against a party not a canidate.Do we need a basics test or more patriotism.
