They asked me where I worked yet since I was not criminally charged just a civil demand do they have a right to tell my job? I mean if they wanted my work to know they would have charged me with the crime and had it put on my record? I guess I'm worried. I know it was stupid, I know. Also I know I was very lucky not to have been charged.

My husband and I are really interested in homesteading up in Canada. I just can't find anything on the internet or I am just not looking in the right places for it. If anyone out there can give me any info on it, it will be much appreciated.

Who would should I call, or talk to to argue or discuss about this "innocent until proven guilty" amendment? I was wrongfully ticketed for a "speed contest VC-23109(a)" and they immediately impounded the vehicle. I won't be able to go before the court until April 13. There was a property hearing today, and they placed a 30 day hold on the vehicle. The 30 day hold itself, is going to cost $758 for the vehicle.
How is this being considered innocent until proven guilty? The officers who supposedly "saw me racing another car" when there were no cars around me. They have not proved that I was guilty, but even if I win in the court, I still have to pay the $758 impound fine? This is not right. What should I do? Or who should I talk to?

It's a natural pain-killer! I've looked up many non-partisan medical journals that all state marijuana is not dangerous (except to the lungs, if you smoke it). It doesn't kill brain cells, isn't physically addictive, and has no long-term effects. What's more, no one has ever contracted cancer from using weed (in the recorded, medical world). And what drug doesn't have any short-term effects? In fact, tobacco, caffeine, alcohol, and other prescription drugs (all legal) are all very destructive (i.e. physically addictive, physically degenerative, have long-term as well as short-term effects, and are even deadly). And, of course, nobody should operate machinery or do anything that requires the importance of critical thinking while using any drugs, legal or not. If it were legal to buy, there wouldn't be crime on the street from its (illegal) distribution, tax dollars could be made and even used to fight addiction. Does anybody have a real reason for it's continued criminalization?

Especially since FAUX news couldn't even stop reporting about Anna Nichole long enough to carry the story about Walter Reed Medical center. THANK GOD the "LIBERAL MEDIA" reported it or NOTHING would have ever gotten done. (if they do anything more now than just put on a media show)

I looked up the figures on deaths attributed to drunk drivers on the MADD website, pretty staggering. This number is much larger than the fatalities that our troops in Iraq are totaling. Everyone is upset and talking about the military fatalities, but no one seems to care or even be aware of what is happening on our highways, why is that ?

I understand that several states have already mandated this vaccine for young girls. It is supposed to protect against some forms of cervical cancer caused by STD's. It is very expensive ($300 per shot and you need 3 boosters) and insurances are not covering the full costs. Long term side effects are not yet known.

My question for pro-choice people is: isn't this "the government telling us what to do with our bodies?" Why can't my daughter choose abstinence and not get the shot? We are not talking about a disease spread by casual contact. We are talking about a disease spread by sexual contact and there are a lot of opinions about sexual contact, particularly outside of marriage. I don't think it's the gov'ts place to mandate this. Isn't this an infingement on "choice?"

Because of nuclear weapons? Let Iran build its weapons and let them use them. If they bomb the USA, then the USA will finally have to reason to fight and bomb Iran. In the meantime, they have their beliefs and their ways. Let the "other countries" take the burden and the load, then maybe they'll appreciate it if the USA does nothing.

This war stuff and BUSH is getting ridiculous.

I think Bush is trigger happey and he wants to get one last dig in, before his presidentail term is expired.
