I would like to know if anyone out there knows any of the Canadian Laws on homesteading in Canada?

My husband and I are really interested in homesteading up in Canada. I just can't find anything on the internet or I am just not looking in the right places for it. If anyone out there can give me any info on it, it will be much appreciated.

if you mean squatting / free land you are out of luck, no freebies in Canada.

if you are talking about homesteading life style on your "purchased" property, this can be done.
you will still have to pay all the taxes and such, no freebies
