Unfortunately, when a citizen is incarcerated, they lose all rights and priveleges. That is the point of being incarcerated. So, technically, yes... a warden can stop a prisoner from doing anything that is not absolutely required to survive. Weddings are no different. And, in fact, weddings are conducted under law. If the prisoner wanted to do something in accordance with the law, they should have thought about that before breaking it. Generally, though, the act of legally marrying someone is not prohibited while in prison, though it may not be a traditional "wedding", per se.

YES!! The warden has the power to delay, postpone, or cancel any event within the prison walls. The only person above him administratively is the Govenor.

No . HOWEVER< this wedding might not be taking place in person. If he is on death row, i doubt they will allow him to be with anyone in person outside of the prisoners or guards, lawyer etc.

Well I think he can but if I were you i would call a lawer and ask befor he ruins that speacial day.Also if he cant i would let him know that you found that out and you will fight for that right.
