I'd say he won't run; he's been through the wringer once, and he's a smart man. He's making all the money he'll ever need, and probably has more influence now than he had when he was running against Bush the Younger, so why would he want to run and screw up his life?

That being said - I'd vote for him if he did run, as I did the first time; I thought then that he'd make an excellent president, and I still think so - I just think he's got better sense than to put himself through the all the political garbage again.

Zip - nada - rien - kaput - zero - minus celsius - you name it!! Mr. Personality he's not! If this poor sod had any charisma at all, the Florida fiasco would never have happened, nor W. Term limits on the Presidency(at least with Clinton) should have been waved(LOL). He'd have been there still. Look out - another one's coming. The 'distaff' side - Mrs. President - Mrs. Clinton - Madam President. Hail to the Chief - skirt and all!!

For crying out loud!! Gore gave it his best shot but wouldn't use Clinton and to add insult to injury The Supreme Court stole the Presidency from him. He took it in stride. He made mistakes, for sure, that's obvious, because you got W. and 70% of you are bitchin' 'bout it now. 43 was no more Presidential material than he was a true Vietnam vet or whatever. The second coming was because it's a known fact that a sitting President is given much levity by the voters in 'wartime' historically. Even then 43 nearly lost to Kerry. Ohio had a problem I believe - never know!! Gore has had enough of that, but the 'spotlight' isn't harming his 'global warming' thing. 'Nuff said.

Hard to say. He seems sincere about not wanting to, but then again many folks who are running said they wouldn't (such as Giuliani)... and since when do most politicians keep their promises? That being said, I find Gore a more electable candidate than Clinton (Hillary) or Obama, but his electability with the people depends on whether they see him as

1) the guy who followed eight good years of Clinton's presidency and somehow managed to lose to George W. Bush anyway

or

2) the guy we should've elected in order to avoid a hopeless debacle in Iraq, the tragedy of 9-11, ridiculous spending by Bush & co., and a U.S. that's in far worse shape than it was seven years ago.

If the Democrats were to go into the convention without a candidate, Gore could be drafted. I don't see any other circumstances under which he would run.

After what happened in 2000, Al Gore said he'd never run for president again. I don't think he would get the democratic nomination either especially with hot candiadates like Obama and Clinton out there.

A little bit better than Ahmadinijad (sp?) getting an award from B'nei Brith.

It depends on how much the she-devil and the he-devil beat themselves up in the coming months. I hope he does run. I can't wait till he has to explain why he is so hot on the environment and other issues now, but didn't do sqaut when V.P.
