Can an employer stop a person from being a part of a civic group that is attempting to better their town? Can an employer imply that an employee shouldn't write letters to the editor, because it is against the politics of the employer? Is an employee at fault for leaving an employer who would make such demands?
Serious answers please!

How difficult will it be. I hear that there are over 300 sites. That would be a lot of bombing. Would it also require an invasion? Do the Iranian people know about the possibility?

Mitt Romney wants to be our next President. Should the fact that he is a Mormon be of concern? Just wondering.

I used to get offended when foreigners make fun of Bush and even Clinton, even though I don't really like either of them that much. But then I could usually "retaliate".

But some people go absolutely nuts, like when you make fun of their royal house or a goofy third world president. Can't we just laugh at our leaders?

Since I was about eight, I have had an obsession with the Soviet Union. I was saddened when the powers that be decided to dissolve it 17 years ago. If every one would have worked together, I think we could have been a happy, productive world not as individual countries, but rather as Soviet Republics -- Europe, North America, South America, Asia, etc.

I also think Communism is the most misunderstood political-economic system. Try visiting Cuba. Every one is happy. The literacy rate is better than any other country on Earth and there are more doctors per capita than almost any other country. Look it up if you don't believe me.

As their anthem stated, the USSR was "created through struggle by will of the People." It'd be nice to think we could some day have a worldwide USSR.

My daughters father is going to get an Enforcement order to have my child physically removed against her will (she is 3) from my home at his visitation time in 2 weeks. My daughter doesn't know him and doesn't want to go with him. She thows a fit at the mention of his name even when I try to make him look good. Can the Police come and physically remove her at this time?

How can we get the power back into the hands of the people? How do we undo the things that have destroyed our Constitution and restore fundamental American values?

I'm writing a paper for a political class and I need some opinions. Much thanks to all that reply.

satire: the combination of humor and criticism to point out human follies.

Basically, I want to know how it changes and/or helps form our opinions in a political way.

does anyone agree that september 11th was enforced by the government. it all seems a bit too suspect that tower 7 fell down aswell as the twins. also how the pentagon only had a small hole in it. they are saying that the plane was destroyed by the pillars when it was working its way through the pentagon walls, but i think a plane would have torn its way through more than one section of the pentagon.i personally think it was all pre planned to start a war in iraq over the oil. its the only way to ensure that greedy american government officials can go there.

what are your thoughts.

once again sorry to bring this subject up its just that i watched a programme on it the other day and want to know peoples views on the event.
