Iran hasn't even built a fully functional one yet. Think of it this way- just since the fall of Saddam Hussein, Iran has really been moving full forward in getting nuclear technology. Now they are just in the begining of having it and we should go for their request that we get rid of ours after we have had them for over 60 yrs. That is completely absurd. Plus when has Iran ever kept it word on anything since the Islamic revolution in the 1970's what have they done besides touting us with empty threats -

That is ridiculous, Iran is setting on an ocean of oil, they don't need alternative fuel. The leader of Iran is nuts and a liar. All he wants nukes for is to wipe Israel off the map, if you can't see that, you must be a liberal. Something like that would only make sense to a liberal.

No your spelling is ridiculous. Why would anyone believe what the Iranians say about getting rid of their weapons. If you want to believe something they have said why not believe that they want to "wipe Israel off the face of the map." The two statements don't reinforce each other, and I'm more inclined to believe the threat against Israel and the rest of the world.

You bet, because Achmadenijad is not a trustworthy person and is not offering the olive branch. This jester is only self serving.
Another way of looking at it would be if you were in a standoff with a thief who had a knife and you had a gun. If the thief said 'Drop the gun and I will not rob you?' would you believe him or is that a rediculous question. Seems to be pretty much on the same lines.

your answer is simple Iran wants nuclar power and the west dont want that Iran have it(beacuse of the reasons that we know)
so Iranian goverment try to solve the problem and show to the west that there isnt a difficult problem on their way to get acces to this power completly and the west dont want to get rid of this problem becuase they fell danger about Iran so you can undrestand that this is a rediculous question beacuse it can have just one answer.(the west wont accept it)

It is ridiculous because there is a whole history of disarmament and it is clear that won't be considered, particularly not coming from Iran, which has little to trade. Russia was different.

The west would be agreeing to eliminate something that Iran doesn't possess. All Iran is promising to do is talk. It doesn't sound fair at all, even if the "West" was willing to consider it.

All responsible countries have the right. Not Iran. And that is a really lame request to make.
