Global climate is a dynamic process, so it is always either heating up or cooling down, or getting wetter or dryer, regardless of human activity. At the moment it is getting hotter, how much of that is due to human activity is very uncertain and a matter for scientific investigation not political opinion, and certainly not just an excuse for America bashing.
The UN reports have more to do with fudge factor physics from the hockey stick brigade than any objective assessment of what is really happening.
The lesson of the biological history of this planet is that environments change, species adapt or die out. So rather than waste effort in trying to stop something that is going to happen anyway we should be learning to adapt to it.
The Kyoto agreement is just a political gesture as the greatest polluter, China, only agreed to sign on the condition it was exempt from its restrictions.

Global Warming is a fraud.
Actually, Reuters did a poll recently and found that only half the people worldwide believe in Global Warming and that America is the least foolish nation. Those dictatorships China and Brazil believe most in Global Warming.
Its simple. Global Warming is just a scare tactic to strengthen the power of foreign dictators.
95% of weathermen don't believe in Global Warming.
Obviously, these stats refer to Man-Made Global Warming. "Scientists" are using the Global Warming scare to get more funds by putting out bogus studies. It strengthens the UN and other World Government agendas.
Europeans need to stop believing the lies their governments tell. America doesn't need to do anything for the environment because Climates change naturally and even if Global Warming were real, nothing could be done about it anyways.

Actually the US has cleaned up its act much more than places like China and other 3rd world countries. These Treaties all of UN countries wanting the US and other 1 rate countries to sign would do great harm to our economy while letting the Biggest poluters China and such off the hook so to speak.

I think we need to be more conscious as a world unit. Yes, the US needs to get more involved and work together with every country in the world on this. It is time to stop letting money and personal interest get in the way of doing what is good for the earth. Everyone needs to get involved and make it a world effort.

Yes, they should - they should pay their overdue UN fees in full & on time, finally. They should stop using high-interest loans as their main way of "helping" Africa & poor Asian & S Am countries; they should commit to always seeking UN or world approval (eg: at least 10 of the 20 most populous countries' green-light) before they invade anyone; and most of all, they should take an exemplary leadership role in efforts to cut pollution levels back down to 1800 levels. (their death penalty & gun culture are also bad issues but I feel they have the right to decide about these for themselves)
And until they do at least some of these, the bare minimum, they should be completely 100% isolated from all world trade.

ok..
is it also a fact that America recently put the Kyoto Protocol into effect as well as a number of other policies to aid in our use of resources? is it also a fact that there are like 3462456871536357685673189 people in china, a country that uses more resources then us, does less than we do?
we lead in all research for a better world, and given the fact that were bigger than alot of coutries means we use more resources then so be it, were taking it into resposability to fix our problems as well as the rest of the worlds. Its a team effort, dont try to put the blame on America only. that is a fact

It has been scientifically proven that human contribution to global warming is insignificant.
The government in this country simply usues the enviroment as a tool to bash the taxes out of us ,in the way it uses security issues as the tools to oppress us.

Why are you screaming? Jeez....people know that and America is doing plenty to help the environment. What are other countries doing? How many coal burning power plants does china have and hope to have in the next 5 years? have you walked down the street of some other backward nations? Most are cesspools. Try a city street in Germany and breath in the fresh.....cough cough air?

We are in a Planetary Emergency. We will not suffer in our lifetimes but our children will. America and it's politics and all nations better wake up.
All people should be ready for a global catastrophe.
Our biosphere is a delicate balance that evolved over millions of years since the last asteriod strike in the gulf of mexico. We are wiping it out for money, power and greed. A human emotion.
The devil is "in" us----
Nature is the giver and sustainer of life. It has natural balance. If things get screwed up, nature balances.
Man is in danger of self extinction. Nuclear, enviromental and biological.
As our earth warms the bacteria and viruses thrive and grow stronger and more resilient.
God bless the hearts of men that they change their ways and learn to love God and his creation and not the money.
Maybe Jesus was telling us alot more when he turned over the money changers tables.
