Many republicans seem to believe that our troops are responsible for going to war. I served six years, and was never asked if I wanted to go to war or not.

If you criticize the Iraq War, its because you dont support GW and gang. You want our troops out of harms way, back home to keep us safe right here - not getting killed 'over there'.

Many personal friends of mine are extended beyond their EAOS and retirement for this, and I love them enough to know they are being mistreated.

So, am I not being supportive? That hurts..........

And why are the Republicans moral restrictions a shinning beacon of light! That is the last thing I want to represent my free market! Freedom from both tyrannies!

Just look at the way the guy gets revenge on his papa's enemys. Bill Clinton killed Bush 41 politically, then even after leaving office, Saddam Hussein tried to rub him out. Now "Sonny" Bush has managed to have Saddam Hussein executed, and he's leaving his successor Hillary Clinton with this bomb called "Iraq" thats going to blow up in her face and limit her to a single term. And people say the guy's an idiot........

Statistics don't back that up! Whenever more economic freedom is given to a people placed under a big government tyranny, they can pull the poverty level up. When more government is used, the poverty might get a free vaccine but are paying twice as much for everything else in the private sector, food, housing, cars!
Please google economic freedom and notice those nations that use alot of government and those who do not! You will notice almost every single big government country can't even afford to pay for their poor people anymore! No everyone is poor and doesn't have healthcare! Drain, drain, drain the economy, maybe that will help!(sarcasm)

I came to Canada in April 2002 with my family and parents who were already landed immigrants. My mother got ill and was diagnosed as a case of cancer of liver. As it was a fatal illness we honored her wish to go back to Pakistan and I went with her. She died there and I came back to Canada after 2months and in this hard circumstances, I lost my landing papers. I paid the fee and got the copy of these papers. My wife and children got citizenship about 1 year ago but I have not been called even for the test of citizenship.
I called immigration office but they say that I should wait and my file was still in process. Whether this delay is due to lost landing papers, I don't know. What should I do? One year is lot of time to wait.
thanks for the help

i was asked to sign a petition to release an albanian immigrant from jail.
i was told he was in peper process, but he didn't send a form in time and one day immigration arrested him. he has been in jail for 5 months.i was told he didn't commite any crime.
i always knew if you are illigal you get deported and that's it, you don't spend time in prison unless you have criminal charges against you..
AM I WRONG?? do illigal spend months in jail just because of their immigration status???

Now I gotta agree about the Mom being guilty since it's a traditional case of road rage, but 2 years?! You gotta be kidding me.

More so is this a case of the elites whipping the masses into line or has our government become too big thinking we're not paying attention to the real world? The Mom has a struggling family and her husband has been jammed in Iraq for quite an extended period. Enough's enough. The military isn't meant to become our nation's new welfare system and prisons aren't meant to become our nation's new mental hospitals.

There, if you want to immigrate, you have to pass a bunch of psych. and knowledge and constitution conformity tests ? (even many germans wouldn´t pass this :) )

Or did it work because of our OWN resolve and willingness to make the sacrifice? Will the US be able to make that sacrifice for the Iraqis? or will the Iraqis have to make it on their own? If they choose not to, will we continue to force them into it? Or is failure IMMINENT?

According to CIA studies terrorism drive people away from the cause. Like the recent terrorist attack to the Bagdad market, would drive Iraqi people against the cause of the terrorists and bring more support for the American troops. Could that be part of the plan of assimilation?
