I regret that so many people "seem" to have voted Repugnantan. Of course it really doesn't matter when you have people paid to juggle the numbers does it?

There have been elections rigged ever since elections have been held. By BOTH sides. The 2000 election was obvious to Americans. The "A" team did a bit better job of covering the dirty tricks in 2004, but even with the extra effort, it still smelled.

So it wouldn't have made much difference if some of these throwbacks on Yahoo had voted differently or not. The outcome would have been the same. The only way that anyone can be sure that an election was honest, is to pass a law that anyone that is involved in election rigging is exiled from the country. Anyone who takes office in a rigged election receives life in prison without parole. No exceptions, no excuses. Then have every voter sign an affidavit at election time and a copy is kept by the voter as a "receipt". Then the affidavits are collected and 51 copies are made. One copy to be kept on display for 4 years at the Smithsonian in D.C. The other 50 to be sent to the capitol of each state, there to be openly displayed to the public. Anyone who then wishes to see and compare his receipt to the ones on display can do so. No more rigged elections. It would be much to easy to get caught, and the penalties would be too high.

I voted for Gore in 2000, and was relieved that Bush was president after 9/11. I voted for Bush in 2004, and was glad I did for the same reasons. Having said that, I think Bush has done a poor job of prosecuting the war in Iraq and the War on Terror in general, and that he has had some misplaced priorities domestically. Overall, I don't wish that Kerry was president, and I certainly am glad that Gore is not, despite some very real problems with Bush.

I voted for Bush and I don't regret my decision. I wouldn't vote for Gore or Kerry. There is something about Kerry I just don't like.

No, Bush was definitely a better decision than either Gore or Kerry but voting for most Republicans or Democrats is never really the best decision. Most of the candidates, for either major party and especially the higher up the political ladder they are, are merely puppets for the owners of the Federal Reserve. If you haven't seen the movie Freedom To Fascism it's well worth your time and your money. You can purchase a copy at http://www.freedomtofascism.com/

I can't believe you people! Just what has Bush done good for this country? It's hard to name even one thing. He's obviously screwed up this war by attacking Iraq even though it was absolutely no threat. What's he done to get Osama, the thug responsible for 9-11? Nothing, other than pull troops away from the hunt. His irresponsible war has killed over 600,000 innocent civilians and over 3100 US troops. 3000 people were killed on
9-11, yet Osama has more freedom than many of us have here. How many Iraqis were involved in 9-11? Why did we attack Iraq? Even Bush doesn't know, because he gives a different answer each time it's asked.
Domestically, Bush has devastated our economy. We have the largest debt in history and we keep giving huge tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans. Our debt is over $9 trillion dollars. If you applied $1 million a day toward the Bush debt, it would take over 17,000 years to pay off. The Bush debt is more than the cumulative total of all presidents before him. He has violated 5 of the 10 original bill of rights. He's responsible for increasing the poverty level to 47 million people. He has refused to fully fund no child left behind. He gave HUGE tax cuts to the top 2% and made the poor and middle class pay for it. His next tax cut planned is to give the Walton family over $32 BILLION in tax cuts.
He has cut funding to veterans hospitals. Check out what's making the current news about the mice and roaches and mold at Walter Reed midical center. His unbalanced budget means that each one of you will owe $32,000 to the government through increased taxes. $45 million citizens have no healthcare and the number is growing dramatically.

The dems want to correct the damage caused by the RepubliCONS one party rule for the last 6 years. The Republicons controlled the house, the senate, the white house and the supreme court for 6 years and all they did was screw up the country and take us to an illegal, unjustified war. We need to restore our democracy and remember that this is a country of, by and for the people, not the corporate cronys and their corruption.

How can you say you'd vote for him again? If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention. Please get educated before you spout off your blind rhetoric!

NO! The press, for whatever reason, has turned on President Bush and tried to make it seem that every decision he makes is wrong. If we back down against terrorist threats they will become more aggressive. Bush's military advisers in Iraq know more about what needs to be done than some Hollywood persona seeking publicity by criticizing the President.

I voted for Bush, and while I am not entirely happy with the job he has done here at home I am satisfied with how he is handleing Iraq. But even if I hated Bush now there is NO WAY I would ever have voted for kerry or gore.

Not at all. If you put Bush up against Kerry right now, I'd still vote for Bush. I was prepared to vote for a Democrat in 2004, but they failed to come up with a decent nominee. Hopefully, they learned from their mistake and will do better in 2008.

If i replaced into American i could have voted for him the two circumstances. Gore and Kerry could have been absolute mess united statesfor the two the U. S. and for the international. Kerry quite. the undertaking with Dubya is verbal replace. he's hardly a chic speaker, in certainty bungles words in lots of circumstances. He has mannerisms that make him look as though an fool and his Texas accessory supplies to his cowboy photograph. If he could communicate like a bill Clinton or a JFK his scores could be double what they are, regardless of the severe casualties in Iraq. What Bush is regardless of the certainty it quite is actual and quite. he's not extra a regular politician. on the comparable time as 9-eleven passed off he met with the families of the 24 Canadian victims one after the different from the yank families. In that assembly he replaced into emotional, quite, considerate and very supportive. He wore his heart on his sleeve on the comparable time as he proclaimed he will do each and every element in his ability to artwork out the perpetrators dropped at justice. All this on the comparable time as our perfect Minister could not even make floor 0 for over a week and not in any understand even regarded the Canadian victims families, not to coach meet with them. shame Mr. Chretien!!

NO!

I would rather play slip-n-slide on a large cheese grater than have Kerry as president...and wow - Gore?

I would have liked some one better than Bush, but the lesser of 2 evils mode kicked in.
