Labour think they can do what they like regardless of how or who it affects..Tony Blair has completely lost the plot and has no decency or he would step down..as for Gordon taking over well god help us all...they have destroyed the core of this country with there PC policy's and red tape .They have dis-empowered the population and left us with a blame culture were no one will take responsibility for there own actions. They have destroyed family life and made it more viable financially to live apart . I don't think I am alone in my view and if they don't get voted or thrown out soon then someone is on the fiddle again! What a sleazy mess.

No, this is not Labour but New Labour and to give them more control over the real British population they are allowing all and sundry into the country ( 800,000 official figure) among these people are known criminals. The reason they have let them in is one, for cheap labour and two, so they can impose anti terror or silence laws on us all.
Thatcher did a similar thing, by closing down most of our industry she destroyed Trade Union power enabling her to control what was left of the working population which is exactly what she sought to do when she came into office she had to destroy the power base of protection first.
We are now witnessing action replay of the same policy resulting in even more control of the indigenous population.
Don't believe it, well just look at the repressive legislation that is being planned, New Labour together with their Tory and Liberal pals have an identical programme it is a case of Buggins turn next so don't be deceived by all the propaganda the other two parties put out it is all a game and we are the pawns.

I do believe that Blair and BROWN have got our country in so much debt since they came to power. Knowing that if the Labour are not re elected their successors will have full access to the BOOKS and they will be exposed. Now in desperation they are hoping to cover their failures by further increased Taxes. They and the Cabinet most likely know the truth and that is why they tolerate each other. Thank God for the honest back benches of the New Labour party who unfortunately have no power on their own to put matters right! I do hope a few of those honest persons retain their seats.

I think there is something in that. After more than 1.5 million people said they didn't want further congestion charges, they have decided to ignore them. There seems to be some sort of psychology behind this behaviour that, if they are willing to ignore that many people then they must be right. Of course they are not right, but just need the money to make up for their own incompetence. Reality replaces reason.

Hey...Putonyour...if you are running for a seat i'd give you a vote. :)

What on earth is your logic in coming up with this rubbish?

No doubt you will be voting for whatever party says it will cut taxes the most - and then you'll be on here complaining that everything costs so much now it has been privatised.

Remember when John Major promised to cut taxes (1992) and then promptly put them up. Or when Thatcher said she would reduce VAT (1979), and then increased it?

I absolutely cannot stand the Labour government. What about the new road tax/car pricing policy they are considering bringing in which will make it impossible for all but the really wealthy to be able to drive on the roads. I have to commute to see my son who lives 200 miles away so that would have to stop.

I hate this government and the sooner we are rid of them the better!

No 'Daisy' it is the other way round. They will loose because they have been punishing us. The Totalitarian lefties deserve to loose.

'Renewable' you are completely wrong about Thatcher, and I am tired of hearing this erroneous argument repeated. She acted to control union power, because it was, THEY, over many years, with their strikes and unreasonable wage demands, that destroyed much of British Industry. You have it completely the wrong way round. The argument you are propounding is left wing propaganda, not a fact but a myth. Immigration in the early fifties, and again in the early sixties, doesn't even begin to compare with the huge waves (completely uncontrolled) we have seen under this government.

I think there is no doubt that Labour will loose the next election, and I think they know it as well.
They are making us suffer in almost every aspect of our lives.
Whether this is in "spite" or not I can"t say, but they are obviously getting bad advice from somewhere if they think the populace are behind them.
I think they are the worst "money grabbers" we have had for decades. The majority of this extra money, robbed from us, has been dreadfully wasted.
I see no future for them at all. Good riddance.

seems that way, but it guarentees they loose, why would they do that. Theirs anouther angle to this, If tony blair was a undercover tory infiltraitor sent to destroy the original labour party, which he has done and now destroy new labour. your left with oneparty the tories, dont forget that blair was a tory, and thatcher fan.
it would not surprise me if he finished up back in the tory party from whence he came.
