And why are the Republicans moral restrictions a shinning beacon of light! That is the last thing I want to represent my free market! Freedom from both tyrannies!

The problem is the democrats think they know what the free market is like. The democrats support a restricted market. What they don't understand is that many of their laws have actually helped the corporations. They support eminent domain, expecting that it's best for the people, but wonder how another wal-mart got placed their. When a Democrat see a issue they give one answer and think that's what's best, but they never think if what they support is might be bad for others. Take minimal wage for example. Democrats support it because they want corporations to pay more for their employees, but don't understand that corporations can pay more and still guarantee low prices, small businesses can't, so chances are those small businesses will lose business because they would have to increase the cost of their products. Or they will have to fire more employees causing unemployment rate to go up.
The thing about the Republicans is that their version of free trade, really isn't free trade. It's more along the lines of "Free Trade-Some restrictions and corporate privlages may apply." They give big corporations like Haliburton special privlages in Iraq instead of allowing competitivness to ensure lower pricing and allow other businesses a chance to help out, but instead they give these guys lower tax cuts, while the average American has to pay more. (But don't expect lower taxes from the Democrats. They believe that everyone should pay loads of taxes.) Instead of cutting taxes for every american citizen. Also, their restricted social stance also, causes problems in the economy but because the religious right is so set on morality, that they refuse to even look at these problems.

Liberals are not necessarily Democrats, but for the most part they are. Some liberals consider themselves Progressives. Liberalism is a belief system characterized by more government involvment, more socialism and less personal responsibility that conservatism. Anti-War can mean many things. Total pacifists or against any war would be far-left liberals, but many against the War in Iraq are not liberals. Some conservatives believe it was a mistake to go into Iraq.

If 'n when Hillary is President and she makes the USA socialized people will understand. Capitalists will not make as much effort to work, businesses will lay more people off making even more needy people and it will be a vicious cycle.

Bush's globalization is creating the same problems in a different way though

Democrats understand it very well, thats why they secretly want to control it......just like the republicans. Problem is the alternatives to our system of government wouldn't be to your liking as well.....maybe we should try a system of government without politicians and see what happens. I predict chaos and a "Mad Max" world. Only the strong would survive. Or, we could all move to Iraq.

Because most democrats are socialists.

Because most republicans are too busy working to pay attention to our corrupt government.

Because it only makes the rich richer. Globalization isn't good for everyone. I didn't know the U.S. went from a class system to a caste system. When did that happen ?
