Do you think it is unfair to comare President Bush to Hitler? What similarities are there, and what differences? How are the policies that have been put into effect affect our civil liberties in comparison with Nazi Germany?

I gave a late notice to move from my apartment. I was suppose to give 60 days, and realized to late that I needed to give a written notice within this time period. I probably gave about a 45 day notice. This is my mistake and I understand that I won't get my deposit back bacause of this (as it says in the lease agreement). BUT NOW, my landlord is telling me that since I gave late notice I cannot move out for another month and that I must pay another month's rent. Is this legal? Can they extend the lease term? It says nothing about this in my lease agreement.

Clinton Dodges Arrows on '02 Iraq Vote

By HOLLY RAMER

DOVER, N.H. (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton told New Hampshire voters Saturday that ending the war in Iraq is more important than whether she repudiates her 2002 vote authorizing President Bush to use military force there.

The New York senator and party front-runner repeatedly has faced calls for her to say her vote was a mistake. Democrats pressed her on it last weekend in New Hampshire and again on Saturday at a town hall meeting in the early voting state.

I have recently paid off and cut up all credit cards. Do you think that all Americans should do the same?

It is such a relief to not have all that debt hanging over my head. I also pay cash for EVERYTHING now...if I don't have the cash...I don't have what it is that I wanted.

If everyone in the US was to do this, how would it effect the banking institutions as well as our society as a whole?

I don't believe it. I think women are really savvy voters who look at the issues and will align themselves with a candidate who best supports their issues. I don't think women are that shallow with their votes. This isn't candidate specific. How do you think women will vote. By appearance or by issues?

The World Trade Center was attached by a truck bomb and the U.S.S. Cole was attacked and several sailors killed during the Clinton administration. There was no American response, then. If there was another attack what would a democrat president do?

Crime rates have dropped dramatically for 20+ years, yet americans still think it's increasing.
We think the drug problem is the greatest danger to youth, despite the fact teenage drug use has dropped by over 2/3's in the last 20 years.
Cell phones are giving us cancer, organic foods are better for us, identity theft is a real problem, breast implants are leaking, avian flu is going to wipe us out, video games are turning our kids into killers, schools aren't safe, MySpace is full of sexual predators, flu shots make us sick, sun exposure causes skin cancer, hackers want to break into our computers, etc... ad nauseam.

Who is to blame for this? Education for not teaching us the basic skills of baloney checking? The Media for over sensationalizing issues that aren't important? Or is it our fault for refusing to use our brains and find the facts, instead preferring to zombie out in front of the tv (or on YA) watching/doing things that we feel comfortable with?

If you can't win then change the rules. Liberal thinking at it's finest. Five bucks says if we win the war that Bush won't get the credit and the media will spin it so Hillary gets it.
