Today at a Taco Bell drive-thru I saw a woman give her approximately eight year-old son an empty pack of cigarettes which he then tossed out the car door into the parking lot. Without thinking I exited my car, picked up the cigarette pack, knocked on her car window, opened the door, tossed the cigarettes back into her lap and said, "You dropped something. You know, we all share this town, you don't need to litter. Do you teach that to your kid?" Then I closed her door and got back into my car. I don't know what got into me.

After I left the drive-thru she was waiting for me and she copied down my license plate number.

She looked like the type that would lie in court so I was just wondering what types of charges I can be brought up on considering that I opened her car door. I did see her mouth the word, "What?" when I knocked on the window but this is not an invitation. I imagine she will say that I threatened her.

How should I defend myself?

In those episodes where Captain Kirk encountered some nasty, alien fugus, or mind ray, or anything that made him act strangely, Spock or McCoy would bring up the possiblity of ordering a full physical/psychological evaluation after which, if Kirk was found to be unfit for command he would be relieved of it. How do you think G.W. Bush would do on a psycological evaluation for, say, the CIA, FBI, or special forces? Is there a standard psych eval for the president?

People make the FALSE claim that America was not founded by fundamentalist Christians when it clearly was.

The ONLY reason why the founding fathers made a seperation of church and state was because of what the abuses they saw in the Catholic church.

The founding fathers were ALL right wing fundamentalist Christians. EVERY SINGLE ONE. To say other wise is a LIE.

I dare you to come up with a SINGLE quote that doesn't support this.

today many girls get pregnant just to get their free council flat. I'm someone who believes if you cant afford to bring up a child... you shouldnt have one. There are many families in the world waiting for babies to adopt, who can afford and will give the child a good up-bringing... reducing the number of chavs and the ammount of tax we have to pay within this country. I believe if you can't bring up a child without the support of the government... the child should be taken away.

Is it better to teach a child how to safely handle a gun at a young age. Or is it better to hide guns from your kids untill they are 16 or so. If you hide them from your child then they will not know how it works if they find it, which could be dangerous. But if you teach them at a young age then they will know how to safley handle it when they do find it. You can of course keep your guns locked up and keep the key hidden, but even young kids are very smart and might be able to get to it even when it is locked up. What do you think?

Would prostitution , multiple wifes and slavery still be the practice of the day had Christianity not become so popular and deadly for those who did not accept it in the middle ages .
Would we all be drug and alcohol free like Islam teaches had it become popular with the masses .
As several prominent religions have waged war with one another over the years should we not be careful not to elect people with beliefs that carry over into our daily lives . We had prohibition due to the temperance movement and what a disaster that was . Similar to our ban on marijuana today which has millions on probation and in jail .
Give unto Caesar has apparently lead to a violation of the ten commandments in that thou shalt not kill . I imagine as they rewrote the bible it was done to allow leaders to invoke their own morality and belief's .
So I must ask then is populist religions dangerous to our form of government even with the separation of church and state in place .

I've heard of some major cities actually banning restaurants from using Trans Fat in their foods. Yes, it's heathier, but if we ban everything that's healthy isn't it stepping on our freedom to eat what we want? If we let government succeed in banning Trans Fat what's next? Banning sugar? Forcing exercise? People need to take their own responsibility to eat healthy NOT let the government make our decision. What do you think?

I am just wondering why so many people call me racist when I say I despise illegal immigration. I don’t like it and im not afraid to say it. I say it proudly.

umm maybe I have been asleep to long but the last time I checked "illegal immigrant" was not a race. pls correct me if I am wrong. All this time I believed that black, white, Hispanic, Native American, etc were races. Never knew illegal immigrant was part of the bunch.

I despise illegal immigration because it is wrong and I don’t understand why so many people fail to realize that it is a crime. What part of "illegal" do they not understand? It doesn’t matter why they are coming here, its ILLEGAL......everyone wants a better life. I want to go to a better school so can I rob some banks for money? Maybe I'll try bank of America first since they love giving out free money anyway without the need for pertinent information.

I could see the tight restrictions being a good thing in southwestern states such as Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. It will serve to keep out illegals from Mexico.

But the Canadian border is another matter.

The economies in northern states like Michigan, Minnesota and especially New York (where I live), depend largely on Canadian visitors coming over and spending money. Fewer tourists mean a smaller cashflow in these states, and we will certainly feel the pinch.

Any thoughts?
