I am just wondering why so many people call me racist when I say I despise illegal immigration. I don’t like it and im not afraid to say it. I say it proudly.
umm maybe I have been asleep to long but the last time I checked "illegal immigrant" was not a race. pls correct me if I am wrong. All this time I believed that black, white, Hispanic, Native American, etc were races. Never knew illegal immigrant was part of the bunch.
I despise illegal immigration because it is wrong and I don’t understand why so many people fail to realize that it is a crime. What part of "illegal" do they not understand? It doesn’t matter why they are coming here, its ILLEGAL......everyone wants a better life. I want to go to a better school so can I rob some banks for money? Maybe I'll try bank of America first since they love giving out free money anyway without the need for pertinent information.

It seems to me that people who assume that we are talking about Mexicans when we say "illegal immigrant" are the ones in fact racist and highly stereotypical.

Everyone pls read Natasha's answers and pls tell me who is the one that really sounds uneducated and ignorant is. There are so many inconsistencies I don’t know where to start. You use circular argument which gets you no where. There weren’t any immigration laws 400 600 years ago so what do u mean they were not legal? And because this was "their" land 600 years ago, CENTURIES later they can get it back from the US government disregarding US laws? Do you read what you write? Me spreading hate? How? See this was the purpose for the question in the first place. I rest my case....

RCA·ism –noun
1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine CULTURAL or INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT, usually involving the idea that ones own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; DISCRIMINATION.
3. HATRED OR INTOLERANCE OF ANOTHER RACE OR OTHER RACES.
I BELIEVE MANY CALL YOU RACIST USING THE DEFINITION ABOVE "DISCRIMINATION BASED UPON A SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT OR A POLICY" Not because they are illegal but because you are against illegal immigration, against people trying to survive in your country. This makes you angry and hate against them and that is why you are racist in their eyes.

Well, I agree totally. Illegal is NOT a race! But someone needs to explain that to the government in Arizona, where the new law basically says police need to ask anyone who looks illegal for papers. Huh? How the heck do you "look" illegal, since it's not a race? Stupid laws like the Arizona one are why those against illegals are accused of being racist.

i never understood that myself. All because I don't want them here that makes a person racist is be-on me. I think people want to make it a issue for the ones that don't agree with it. I'm just wondering if they know what a real racist even is. And my question to them would be even if i was a racist does that really matter to start with? Yes, I am a racist to point. I'm even a racist to my own kind. everyone is racist to point and If they say they ain't your full of it. but i do get along with everyone with regardless of there race. the bottom line is your illegal and it's a crime. no racist there at all. so people need to get over the fact of that. I guess if i ever end up in court for something i guess I'll tell them there being a racist and then i guess i will say why should i have a fine and all when over millions of illegals are getting away with it. why cant i. OH that's right I'm AMERICAN that don't work for us. we already leave in the so called land of the free. That's a laugh to. I'm looking to better myself. Oh i forgot to, I am AMERICAN we never have problems we never struggle. I'll stop. So I guess I'll just be one of the other millions of Americans that our racist to on that matter!!!

Illegal immigrant is not a race. However, it is no mystery that some people would make that mistake. Millions of Mexicans and other hispanics have invaded us, and they are the largest group of illegals. It simply is a fact that we have been majorly invaded by a particular race. To many people that means that they should have some sort of rights and protections. To some people that means if we don't like it we are racist. Personally I don't care if they are all one race or perfectly divided among all races--An illegal invasion is just that--ILLEGAL and an INVASION. Demanding special rights because of their color and numbers makes them the racists, not us. I do not want any illegal immigration. I don't want our money going to support any illegals. But it's hard not to notice the largest and loudest group of illegals.
I'm not going to ignore the big pink elephant in the corner just because it's not PC to mention it.

When Americans start criticizing Eastern European immigrants for milking the system and criticizing Asians shop owners for overcharging products and only hiring their own people, then I will stop considering the anti-illegal people racists.
For Oglala: I went to a pred. black and hispanic high school and grew up in a black and hispanic neighborhood -- what those articles don't say is that 90% of the time, blacks initiate trouble.

Illegal immigrants are not all from the same country but do share a common bond in that they all are committed to breaking known laws by being within a particular country.
People being within a country illegally is not just a problem within the United States. England has a pretty serious problem with it as well as Mexico along its southern border.
I will add that I find it amazing that Mexico, who has the strongest anti illegal entry laws within this part of the world has a problem with those within the United States for wanting to just enforce laws that are nowhere even close as strict as their own.

The race card is the only argument illegals have for an excuse for breaking the law,far as Im concerned thats old,I could care less what race anybody is. Make a positive difference in the world and people respond to that in a positive way no matter who you are.

The problem with ILLEGAL mexicans is they stood in OUR streets screaming about US being racist but demanding OUR rights for them which they haven't earned or deserved. And 66% of all babies born to mexicans are outta wedlock. To be honest the problem is the U.S. taxpayer is getting tired of paying welfare checks for these lazy people to come here and gangbang, screw like bunnies and do drugs.

Illegal immigrants are not a "race".
Mexicans are also not a "race" but a nationality.
Illegal aliens are simply all criminals who have violated our laws by entering the USA illegally or overstaying a visa, it has nothing to do with "race".
People who call you "racist" if you are against illegal immigration are ignorant, and actually mostly racist themselves.
Illegal alien supporters who call other people racist would not be supporting illegal aliens if there were 20 million Asians pouring in here illegally taking all the low pay slave jobs, popping out anchor babies to get on welfare and producing children like brood sows overpopulating the earth, and this country, while not paying taxes to pay to educate their whelps and pay for their free medical care.
Which makes them racist. The only reason hispanics support illegal immigration is because right now most illegals are from third world hispanic nations south of the border.
Like the motto of the racist "la raza" says "for mexicans everything for everyone else nothing". That is the epitome of what racism is.
As for Matandogu. I don't know who you think you are referring to when you make comments about people who "claim" to be US native American indian, but I AM full blood shoshone. What is YOUR tribe?
There is not now, and has never been any tribe whose homeland was or is north of the current US/Mex border which was called "mexican", or mexicano, or mexica, or meztiso, or hispanic, or latino, or aztec, or azteca, or mayan, or toltec, or chicano, or cholo, or vato, or essas or homie.
Get the picture?
Mexican indios are indigenous to the land SOUTH of the border, not north of it.
At it's greatest the aztec empire was an extent of land roughly about the size of the state of West Virginia, located in central Mexico, where Mexico City now stands, HUNDREDS OF MILES SOUTH OF THE CURRENT US/MEX BORDER. No aztec ever stepped foot on what is now US lands.
This land belonged to our US native American indian tribes before your hispanic ancestors got here from EUROPE (and STOLE our lands), and before any of your mexicano indio ancestors were brought here as slaves by the hispanic EUROPEANS.
Next time you want to make a comment about the heritage of some other posters, Matandogu, you had better know what you are talking about. And next time you want to comment on "native" or "indigenous" Americans, make certain you get your facts straight.
Mexican indians are indigenous to MEXICO, not to the US of A.

Agrees with Shoshone. =)
You are not a racist, it's just a weak argument because the pro side knows that there is no valid argument for their invasion. If you want to see the hypocrisy of their claims of racism, the following links discuss the planned black genocide by illegal Mexicans in Los Angeles.
