We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America , but we haven't a clue as to where thousands of Illegal immigrants and Terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of
Agriculture in charge of immigration?

So, why do I keep reading that we went to Iraq for the oil? IRAQ conrols IRAQ'S oil production and sales--not the US and we can go to 11 other oil producers (since Congress refuses to allow us to drill more in the Gulf and Alaska) and become self-sufficient.Things that make you go hummmmm

Everyone has a gripe about the way things are run, what would you do different?
I seriously think this country has gone downhill and I fear it will only get worse, what with the crime, immigrants and PC brigade.

I know that I'm probably going to get a lot of strong responses to this question. However, I really do wonder if it should be illegal. After all, it's not as if suicidal people want to hurt anyone other than themselves. Also, some may argue that suicidal people aren't thinking rationally when they decide to kill themselves. That may be true, but is it really morally right for the rest of us to impose our will upon these people and force them to do something they don't want to do (live)?

Did you show up? Were you picked to serve?
I got served last years and couldn't make it so I rescheduled and was told I would be notified by mail or email and it never happened this year I got served again and was told if I didn't show up, there would be a warrent out for my arrest. I don't want to serve on a jury I don't feel I can judge another human being.

If you have a body attachment for missing a court date and also skipped out of probation for a low level felony fraud charge in Indiana and you go to Washington (state) and begin living there, will they actually bother to come and get you or will they just rack you in Washington (if you are even found)? What if the person inverts their social security # and drops a letter from their name on the I-9 form and begins to work?

I have been living in this apartment for one month now. Since day one the above apartment has a child (rougly about 2 years old). I understand living beneath someone their is going to be noise. Such as hearing their washing machine, T.V. and hearing people walk. I also hear this child run constantly which is part of being a child I know. The issue with me is the constant running and jumping late at night until early morning. I am being serious, the child has woken me up from bed at 2 in the morning. I work from 8 to 5 and I need my sleep. I usually go to bed around 11 and it's so hard for me to sleep due to the running and jumping all night long. I talked to the Mother upstairs and explained to her the situation and she apologized and would settle the child down. A week went by and still the same. I called the landlord and he said he can't do anything about it. But in my lease it has rules bout the disturbance of neighbors being an issue. What do I do now? Thanks!!!

I have a Senior Project that I have to make 2 surveys for. 1 for civilians and another for soldiers (active or retired doesn't matter). I have to get 50 people and soldiers to take the one that is specifically for them. I know very few military people and only a few can help me out (many of them are in Iraq or training). The project is about the way the media covers the war in Iraq. While the surveys ask your opinion and sources for your information. If you really would help me by taking this survey I will contact you (just to warn you ahead of time).
Thank you,
CadetKAt

RTI Act 2005 would change our mindset towards transparency and accountability. The phrases like "system failure" would soon be obsolete. HOwever, it is difficult for an officer nominated as Public Information Officer from within the department to expose the misdeed of his own department to which he may be a passive or active party or a supervisor. If the PIO is from some other department he could be impartial, neutral and assertive. It is advisable to have PIO from outside the jurisdiction of the Information holding authority. In the present setup the PIO cannot extract information from his own office if the concerned information implicates his superiors or even his staff or subordinates. The applications under RTI Act may be received at the concerned department or at the office of the designated PIO or through online besides the post offices and may be forwarded to the respective PIO’s for which another 5-7 days of margin can be given over the 30 days period

I seems to me that if you join the armed services, you would want the chance to put your training to work. I did, I came out of the Marines in 1998 and knew the whole time I might have to go ANYPLACE at ANYTIME and I went to a few places I really didn't want to. So why join if you don't want to fight, the food isn't that good.
