My parents lived and owned a home in Cumberland WI. Including myself there are four children and all of us were on the deed to this property. Upon the death of both parents one of my siblings sold said property and all assets, (I am assuming as there is nothing left now). The money was supposed to be split between all of us and I never received anything. One of my other siblings did get some money but was asked to pay it back. While the other two will not tell me anything about what has happened with any of it. I am disabled and I don't have a lot of money to put forth for lawyer fees, so what I am asking is if I have a case that I could pursue or should I just let it go?

Ex-boyfriend received judgement for half his original demand of $2800.00 that he charged on his credit card (I have to pay him $1400.00), however this amount was not from his pocket, it was a credit card charge.

He stated in court that he has not made any payments on the credit card, so could I send the check directly to the credit card account because the suit was for a "credit card transaction?"

Also- Now he claims to have "paid the card off completely" and wants me to send the check to him directly (but I know that this delinquent account has already ruined his credit, so he's not planning on paying it anyway) could I send the check to the credit company anyway and they could mail him a refund, if he really has paid off that account- which he has NOT.

He basically just wants the cash for his pocket- free money. He hasn't paid anything to this credit card, so he isn't out any money at all!!

I cannnot afford to appeal, do I have any other options??

Judging by similar postings on 9/11, some Americans will give me abuse, question my patriotism to England, call me a terrorist etc etc. Bring it on.

Seemingly, some of you back your Government, without demanding the truth, with a "they wouldn't lie to me" attitude?

Will the questiion wind some of you guys up, like on previous questions on 9/11 issues? Or, can you give me a sensible explanation. What is your interpretation of this one occurrence? Many, gave me their thoughts on events during 9/11 last time, thanks, I read them with interest.

Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, has passed an executive order mandating all girls in the sixth grade receive the HPV vaccine. The vaccine is supposed to protect girls from contracting 2 cancer causing strains of the HPV virus. These strains are only contracted through sexual activity. Some people applaud Perry’s decision for taking a stance toward cancer prevention while other believe the mandate takes power away from parents and strays too far into families lives.

Not make things up, like "Bush is monitoring my phonecalls from my grandmother," which unless you grandmother is calling from a radical imam's mosque in Syria is utter BS.

Not "Patriot Act" - what about the Patriot Act - the fact that you have to show an ID when you open a checking account?

Not "they can see what I looked up on the library's comuter" - - right, the LIBRARY'S computer. Not yours. Just like your boss has the right to see that you're answering this question, since it's your employer's computer, the government has the right to see what IT'S computers are being used for, and when they weren't doing this, smart criminals used the library computer so the "how to make a bomb" site wouldn't show up on their own computer.

And don't tell me that foreign terror suspects have 6th Amendment rights under the Constitution of a country they've never been to.

What rights have YOU lost?

Newsweek reports (Samuelson column) that 50 years ago defense spending was 60% of the budget and payments for social programs (welfare, social security, medicare and medicaid) was 22% of the budget. In 2006 defense spending dropped to 20% and social programs increased to 60%.
Are we headed toward a socialist state? Are we living in one?
Why do Democrats cry out for even more spending on social programs but do not want to spend money necessary to protect our country?
