Democrats promote democracy in other countries. The people of Iran elected Ahmadinejad. Now you cannot promote democracy and demand that the people elect leaders that you like. Sometimes they will exercise their democratic right and elect anti-American, anti-capitalist leaders. However, remember what Woodrow Wilson said, that we must "make the world safe for democracy." Sorry, you cannot have it both ways. You cannot always have pro-American governments that are elected by the democratic process. However, you can have brutal, cruel, right-wing military dictatorships like in Pakistan that are very pro-American. You can also have Fascist type governments with concentration camps that are one million percent pro-American. Incidentally, in this connection, I happen to like Ahmadinejad. I do not propose to speak for the Democratic Party in this. Many Democrats. like Democrats for Israel, do not like him. However, personal speaking, he is one of my heroes.

Ahmadinejad is a democratically elected president of Iran. His term would be ending next twelve months 2008, while the recent Iranian presidential elections would be held. Ahmadinejad is a baby-kisser, and purely like all different baby-kisser, his speeches are crammed with rhetorics. G W Bush at one time reported in his speech "deliver 'em on" bearing on Islamists. Many evaluate those words as sparkling provocation. Even Ronald Reagan throughout his time, stirred controversy via declaring some thing to the end result meaning "wipe out the Soviet Union" or "bomb Russia to oblivion".

Perhaps if they do that, there will be money somewhere at the end of the rainbow for them to add to their personal bank accounts. Or perks for them, in the oil industry. I have always thought that certain politicians should have pay scale caps anyways. Make certain levels of politics strictly volunteer, with a capped pay. Just like New Hampshire does with their legislators. For decades, they have only gotten $100.00 a year for a pay. They know when they run for office, that it is volunteer. And, no one has been able to get it changed.

Since our invasion into Iraq was supposedly to eliminate the ability of one of the members of the "axis of evil" to threaten us with WMD, it's hard to consider that endeavor a success. All we appear to have accomplished in terms of the threat of WMD is enhance the WMD capabilities of Iran, a country that would be exceedingly difficult to invade and probably impossible to occupy, and against which there are none of the highly restrictive embargoes that appear to have halted Saddam's progress on nuclear weapons and seriously eroded his capabilities in biological and chemical warfare.

I'm sorry but is that the same Ahmadinejad who was visited by al-Maliki -- the Iraqi PM who was installed by Bush's military invasion?

You know, al-Maliki. The guy who travelled to Tehran and kissed Ahmadinejad on both cheeks. The guy who has not denounced Iran's nuclear program.

That guy.

I don't know. All I know is that allot of their support in '06 came from mid-east terror leaders. And Al Queda's second in command has released a tape expressing "dissatisfaction" with the activities of Democrats... Strange how he addresses them specifically, no?

Would you care to post some evidence to back up your claim?

Or maybe you could stop posting non-sense and lies. You know, Rush Limbaugh is not really a reliable source for factual information.
