Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, has passed an executive order mandating all girls in the sixth grade receive the HPV vaccine. The vaccine is supposed to protect girls from contracting 2 cancer causing strains of the HPV virus. These strains are only contracted through sexual activity. Some people applaud Perry’s decision for taking a stance toward cancer prevention while other believe the mandate takes power away from parents and strays too far into families lives.

Yes, I think he made the only sane choice he could. He is not encouraging underage sexual activity, but trying to protect these young girls from getting a specific cancer later in life. I hope more governors will follow suit.

Since 400 Texas women die from this a year, I think it most definitely should be a public concern. If anyone else were promoting this, I would sit up and listen. But Rick Perry ? He has never given a fig about education or health care, so I wonder what his true motivation is here. There are 3 shots in a series, costing about $360 per child. Now spells billions for Merck, the pharmaceutical giant that will be the supplier. Think Ricky Boy might be getting a little something under the table?

There is no law in America, aside from those applying to medical workers, that says you or your child has to take any vaccine whatsoever, no matter what any executive order, requirement, mandate or policy dictates, there is no situation where you can go to prison for refusing a government vaccine under the U.S. constitution and the law of the land.

As in the case of all other vaccines, Perry's executive order merely states that the vaccine is "recommended," yet the mass media drumbeat constantly conditions people to believe that if they don't take their shots they will be kicked out of school, arrested and thrown in jail. This trick will continue to hoodwink Americans into taking all manner of dangerous and untested vaccines, the number of which

Though it may sound like I good idea on the surface, I don't think that it should be a mandate for sixth grade girls to receive this vaccine. This is a decision that should be made by the parents. I think further research should be done on this matter. I still have questions on this matter, like who's responsible for paying for this mandate and the side effects of this drug...

I think he was wrong in making it mandatory for all girls to receive that vaccine. I agree with him in taking a stance in that something needed to be done to protect people for this strain but I feel that that decision should have been left up to the parents of the girls and not the state.

NO I do not believe Rick Perry is right. I believe it is just another political scandal. Research says that the same people that came up with this stupid vaccine also created another vaccine that killed several people which put them in backruptcy. We are talking about a drug that was never tested for side effects and will be given to sweet innocent kids who have a lot to live for.

Binary options let users trade in currency pairs and stocks for various predetermined time-periods, minimal of which is 30 seconds. Executing trades is straightforward. The system uses user-friendly interfaces, which even an 8 years old kid, can operate without having to read any instructions. But winning trades is Not easy.
Binary trading is advertised as the only genuine system that lets users earn preposterous amounts of money in ridiculously short period of time. Advertisers try to implicate as if you can make $350 every 60 seconds; if it was true then binary trading would truly be an astonishing business.
However, does it make any sense? Can every trader make tons of money in binary trading? Who is actually paying all the money or the profit to traders?
The first challenge is finding a trustworthy binary broker; secondly, you need to find a binary trading strategy, which you can use to make profits consistently. Without an effective trading strategy, there is no way you can make money in this business.

I think it is absolutely STUPID!!!!!!!! I think he is getting some type of " kick back" from the pharmaceutical company. HPV isn't something you catch at day care or at the grocery store it is from sexual activity for goodness sake!! Do we even know the long term effects of this vaccine???? The unknown side effects may be horrific.

Well...does the state pay for said vaccination? If yes, then it sounds O.K. to me. If no, then it seems wrong to force it on someone.

It would be better to me if they offered free ones and let the parents decide, but what do I know.

NO, I think he is wrong. It isn't ANY of his business if the parents DON'T want their kids to be vaccinated. ANOTHER step towards a communistic nation.
