Everything except for the fact that the country is ruled by a very small, very rich elite group that keep the people poor, undereducated and suppressed!
Mexico needs a good revolution, the sooner the better!

It's basically rude and crude and filled with crime in many ways but there are many good things about Mexico and Mexicans.
Problem is for me, what is not pleasant is having illegal ones here and swaying American culture and society towards the rude and crude part.
What is good about Mexico mostly is the landscape and the amenities. The people in their heart are as good as any AMerican but they know only lives filled with crime, petty theft, breaking laws to get by and they bring that here when they come illegally.
I would have to say they also have some of the best anthropological and ancient history available in the Americas and that is a world class circumstance. It's a very old culture as facts would have it.
One has to wonder why it has become so decrepid and faltering as a society?

I've been to Mexico about 20 times. There is no middle class, although Mexico does have natural resources, but their government is very self serving, and the poor are beyond poor. But the Mexican people are warm, friendly, and very helpful. They definitely get a kick out of us Anglos. Mexico has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The late great oceanographer Jacque Cousteau filmed the sleeping sharks of the Yucatan. He said it was the most beautiful water he had ever seen. I've been there several times, and I certainly agree !!

Everyones focusing on the government issues.
You know how can you stay posotive when all you think about is the negative.
Mexico is BEAUTIFULL. way more vegitation and tropics than america.
The culter is extravagant, The Mayan Ruins, the Toltec ruins.
they have more ancient civilization arcitects down there than most of you americans have EVER seen.
America destrayed everything, Mexico learned about it.
Look at the landscaping, not the people, The world decides about america based on people, and look how hated america is by the rest of the world.
Focus on beauty, it's still out there.

Great tequila at low prices.... and bullfighting.
And I don't care if I never travel south of the Rio Grande again. There is not a single thing worthy of interest between Texas and the South Pole.

Well, I bought a wallet in Mexico that lasted me 3 months. I bought one in K-Mart in the USA after that one fell apart that lasted me 17 years, and I just got it replaced last week. So, make up your mind, Mexico or USA. Wallets that last 3 months or 17 years.
