How would you make things better to live in the UK?
Everyone has a gripe about the way things are run, what would you do different?
I seriously think this country has gone downhill and I fear it will only get worse, what with the crime, immigrants and PC brigade.
Will you vote for labour in the next general election?
I know I definately won't:0(

Thanks for your answers so far. Some really good ones too!
I am sick of society today in this country. The victims are penalised whilst the perpetrators are rewarded. Prisners are treated better than honest citizens. The Immigrant situation is out of hand. We have more rules now to protect ethnic minorities when it seems they are becoming ethnic majorities. We can't even fly the Union Jack/ George Cross for fear of offending them! It is getting really stupid now. I didn't really want to vote BNP before as some of their policies seem a bit extreme but I have tom admit their policies are becoming more attractive to me each day!

Very general question - perhaps too broad for a forum such as this. So I'll tackle as per individual questions.
Crime: More police presence, harsher sentencing for criminals, deciminalization and regulation of Extasy and Marijuana.
Immigrants: Non-Xenophobic approach but a rigid system. Limitation of numbers of immigrants each year with the exception of standing agreements with the EU. Asylum system to be revised (scrapped) and strong controls where asylum seekers get no benefits until they are actually admitted to British soil.
PC Brigade: Dunno - that's the world we live in and I don't have an answer for this but again a return to the old ways of racists and abusive language isn't an answer either.
Vote: I'm voting Scottish Conservative Party (a protest vote here in Scotland)

For a start we should get rid of Blair, Brown and many of their corrupt colleagues within New Labour movement. The sooner the better but having said that I do believe the true old Labour supporters should be respected and I am sure they will disappointed about much of the New Labour lies and failures.
A good honest Government - of whatever party, and an honest Opposition would immediately change things for the better in the UK. Now they would all truly be ' Honourable Members ' !

I would make all immigrants take lessons about being British and everyone would have to respect the British way of life. I have nothing against other religions, but I would like to make it clear that Britain is above all a Christian nation and our laws reflect that.
I'll be voting for the first time during the next elections and I will be voting BNP

Yiou have opened a can or worms here. I could write a long long list, but the most important thing is go back to things British. Forget other ethnics - if they want to live there they have to comply with the British way of life. Stop immigration - leave the countryside alone. Teach the youth to respect their teachers and authority. Is that enough to go on with?

First of - get immigration under control
Second - Stop pumping taxpayers money into foreign countries
Third - Pull out of EU and save money from contributions we make to this corrupt state
Scrap Council Tax - Control from Central Government using the money saved from above
Human rights act would be ripped up
VOTE LABOUR - NOT A CHANCE

Get the bloody immigrants out - secure the borders and DONT let any more in whatever the excuse. Send the ones here back to the country they were in before they headed here - let them claim asylum in France or Germany - UK is NOT the first country they settled in I know !!!! No I will not be voting any mainstream party next time - it will be either UKIP or BNP for me xxxxxxxx

I will never vote labour again.......these are the things I would do if I had the power.
1.Cut down dramatically on Hospital administrators being paid silly amounts of money and employ nurses
2.get rid of outsourced services for hospitals and bring them back in house, so the cleaner may have more pride it what they do they would be over looked by a hospital Housekeeper whose head would roll if it wasn't done properly
3.Build decent social housing for those youngsters out priced
from the housing market.
4 Scrap poll tax and light and heating for OAP
5.Open schools to educate children with dyslexia thus giving them the one to one help they need.
6. put curfews on the street for under 16 year old
7. invest in manufacturing reduce tax for companies encouraging them to stay in the UK
8.limit immigration to persons we need only
9,come out of the European union
10.Bring in the Army to search for illegals
just for a start

BNP for me. This country has been going downhill ever since the Rolling Stones first appeared on television. Looking back, that's when the rot started to set in.

I would change the UK by asking/expecting the "government" to put us the true British people first for a change.. not everybody else all the time. In my opinion if they cant look after us, then how on earth can they begin to justify helping everyone else.
