If only the registered voter can vote in a primary, and the majority of them are voting entirely in one direction (right or left). Should we change it so maybe Independents can have some control who will run for the White House.

I've always grown up to believe that America is the best country in the world, that the military is sent out the save people from other countries. How do you explain the fact that they take advantage of their resources and women? I'm sorry but I've known people who are casualties of American military serving for a long time in other countries. When they get an "itch" trust me, their wives and families in the US doesn't know what they do there. How many of their familes in the US actually know they have half-brothers or half-sisters in another country? These soldiers come home like nothing every happened but those who end up having psychological problems are that one they know did something wrong and their conscience is finally catching up with them. Do you have family in the military? Why don't you ask them what really happens? Who do you think started whore-houses in some countries?

UNC-Chapel Hill is a depository library, which means that we get all the US federal documents that are not classified. Who is in charge of making sure we get these items. Additionally, my understanding is that if you request any document in a foreign language, it will be translated for you. Who does this? Is there any official set of languages for which their are translators?

My ex is a complete jerk and used me throughout the 3 years we knew each other. I had gotten pregnant before and got an abortion because he wanted it so he could be with his ex. well my dad got orders last year to move to Hawaii July 2007 but i found out im pregnant. i want sole custody because i know my ex will be bad for the kid. he has abused me and i have reported it once before but they didnt grant me restraining order after i showed the bruises he gave me. but he has record of domestic violence from his ex whom he cheated on me with many times. he threatens me all the time that if i dont do what he wants he wont pay me back the 2000 dollars he owes me. he can barely pay rent which i had to help him with even after i had no job and no money. now he wants partial cusotdy of the kid and be able to claim him/her on tax return but wants nothing of us. he wants to do it to hurt me. i have texts from him proving he is vioulent and threatens me. what can i do?

I have been seeing a lot of stories about pedophiles on the news and in print and it really bothers me how a lot of these freaks are able to do all this. Like the 29 year old fool that posed as a middle schooler and was able to get into a school system and even took some kids home with him. There are other stories of the organization NAMBLA, how they come up with schemes to get to kids like being school teachers for example, there ought to be a way of getting these people before they get to our kids.

I do not agree with what terrorist do, but I do understand why.....

Lets say you as a nationalist of your country saw it get invaded.... your army wiped out, and your goverment (that you loved, and agreed with) was removed and imprisoned.

The new goverment is placed, and it puts a group that you dont like in power, and they try and make things benefit them.

You see fellow country men go along and embrace this goverment.

Wouldn't you think that the enemy has taken your country, placed a goverment that would get along with them, and wouldn't you see your fellow ex-country men as traitors.

Wouldn't you despise them.

Wouldn't you try and fight back any way you could, any way possible.

You know that fighting the enemy head on would be certain death, cause if you caused enough damage they would just call in an air-strike and kill you.

So you strike from the corners of streets and meld into the shadows after causing enough damage, so that you can hit strike again and cause more damage

He is registered with the DOR, and i know hes working. He has had his liscence suspended, and is on the list for dead beat dads, My question is what else can i do to make him pay, we live in Massachusett. He is ordered through the court to pay $480.00 a week.

A police officer stopped me for running a stop sign in texas; I don't remember if I ran it or not since it was on a service road where instead of yeild signs they have a stop sign. It was dark and I am not familiar with the city. If im not sure if i ran it, how should I plea? and If i need to pay can i do community service instead?

i was arrested for dui. in south carolina my bac was .21 i am going to court and pleading guilty. i know i was in the wrong. i have to pay a fine of 992 dollars in court tomorow i spent the night in jail when i was arrested and i was let out on a personal recognace bond. do you think i will get locked up tomorow when i go to court and am convicted of the dui after pleading guilty. if it helps this occured in greenwood county in south carolina. it is my first and last offense and the first time i have ever been in any trouble before. i am 23 years old.
