With all the money being spent to obtain Mr. Bushes agenda's, we could have completely secured our own borders, Fixed the Social Security Problem, health care, and probably still give each state a Billion dollars for whatever, lol.

Just goes to show he doesn't really give a damn about the people in the US or this country. He cares about what HE WANTS and what will BENIFIT HIM and his Followers (BIG Coporations).

One day not in my lifetime, this country will erupt into a massive civil war. People in this country will finally grow some $*#&@ and do something. To many people watch everything thats going on and think, well it's really not affecting me so why worry about it, but everyone forgets it's not about fighting for today, but it's about fighting for the future. This country has way to many wimps in office, and the crappy thing is that they're are elected so they can speak for the people and as you can see most of them completely ignore what the people want or say.

I wish everyone would just say the hell with it and stop voting, do whatever you want, ignore those that have control, I mean why not, our politicians and the rest of the Gov't seem to do that. One more thing, these political leaders will not stop until all of you start Voting for WHAT'S RIGHT and not just vote b/c of some silly stupid politcal party. I really wonder why people are so dead set on voting for a particular party, do you really think they give a damn about you, if you do you ,my friends are fools. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree.

And it still takes money to fund the classes to give the job training to the poor, as well as offer affordable child care to the mothers that have in the past not worked due to not being able to pay for child care.

Instead we go and throw it at a baseless war. Yeah - that is what we need to do with the millions.

I totally agree, just think what our people could do with the $billions we give to Israel every year app $25, Egypt $10 every year, Palestine, 1$10 million, Jordan, ?? Afghanistan ?? there are to many to mention, we could have the biggest pot party in the world with plenty of beer, whiskey, or what ever for those who don't like pot,and still have enough left over to pay for the medicine for our elderly, food for the hungry, and we wouldn't have to do with out food to pay our bills as there would be no income tax taking half of our pay, UTOPIA

I couldn't agree with you more. No matter how much we do for other nations, they'll hate us regardless. Our government is forgetting that there's a nation right under their noses that needs to be taken care of. Our poor and homeless could sure use those jobs that our government claims Americans won't do.. then we could get rid of all the law breaking illegals in this country, too.

If you mean by spending billions on people that hate us, fighting the war in Iraq, then I'm not sure there would be any old to take care of or a we to take care of them. If you mean spending billions on foreign aid for countries that hate us. Yes we probably could.

Iraq citizens have health care it is all free to Iraq citizens compliments of the American government.
They have free food and free medicine. Then 10.6 billion to rebuild Iraq and New Orleans lays in ruins still yet.
They are not getting any help and probably won't.
Veterans had their benefits cut twice now.
We do not have a welfare program and haven't for a long time.
Nor do we have free college for our students.
But they do in Iraq. Guess who is paying for it? American tax payers.

I agree, Bush has annouced another round of domestic cuts in the budget but a rise in the military budget for 08. This is just wrong, when there is so much need in our own country, why are we rebuilding Iraq and protecting its borders when we should be protecting our own.

instead of giving to the old to prolong their pain and suffering so as we can avoid death and fatten the medical "industry" maybe we could spend trillions on adopting unwanted Americans so as so many young women don't feel abortion is their only option
