UNC-Chapel Hill is a depository library, which means that we get all the US federal documents that are not classified. Who is in charge of making sure we get these items. Additionally, my understanding is that if you request any document in a foreign language, it will be translated for you. Who does this? Is there any official set of languages for which their are translators?

Government Printing Office officials, who have a significant role in preserving government information, want to capture fugitive publications, which are documents that federal agencies have published on the Web but for which no copy or record exists in GPO's database.
