Hello, English is not my mother language though I am good in it.

However, I am in a bad need to know the English term that describs this.
"You know when some products are very essential to citizens in a country (like oil for example) the country controls the prices of such products and sometimes they sell those products with less than its actual costs".

Can you tell me what do you name:
1. Pdoucts that their prices are controlled by the governement?
2. products that governments sometimes have to sell it with less than the actual price (less than their costs).
3. What is the word "subsidized" means? is it to refer to point number 2. like to say "subsidized products"?

Thnx in advance
Hossam

President Clinton took the oath of office January 20, 1993. February, 26 - barely a month later - terrorists detonated more than 1,000 pounds of explosives under the World Trade Center, killing six and injuring about a thousand people. Bill Clinton and the Democrats never dreamed of trying to blame the outgoing George Herbert Walker Bush Administration. They just began working to keep us safe from terrorism. Why couldn't the present Bush Administration do that after 9/11?

I'm 29 yrs old, and have a BA in political science, as well as a little grad school. I've been out of college for 6 yrs and have had a few jobs that I didn't like or really didn't click for me. I'm having trouble finding direction for my career and don't want to job hop until retirement age. I feel like being unsure was OK at age 18-24, but I'm almost 30! It seems like many people my age have found careers and are getting 'settled' with their careers. I've had so many 'ideas' about careers from firefighter to teacher, lawyer, aid worker, peace corps, etc. (the list goes on) and can't seem to figure myself out. Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions or advice?

You'll be stunned. The overwhelming majority of federal income taxes are paid by the very highest income earners. The top 1% of income earners pay about 32% of all income taxes. The top 5% pays 51.4%. The top 10% of high income earners, pay 63.5%. The top 20% of income earners pays 78% of all federal income taxes. The top 20%.

Here's the final number. The bottom four-fifths, 80% - the bottom 80% of income earners pay just 20%.

The bottom 80% pay only 20% of the burden.

Whats wrong with learning to defend yourself or must you rely on government for everything like little children?

I think people who do this are not humans but sheep in human skin.

Prisons are rife with gang members, of different ethnic and racial groups, that have their own form of gang leadership, codes of ethics (i.e., killing rival gang members), methods of encrypting messages sent from outside gang leadership, details in place to smuggle in contraband, and escape plans.

Since they think they are so smart, as well as having built up their bodies working out in the prison yard, why not draft them into specialized forces of the armed services, so that they can use their gang skills above (and more) to fight the ever-increasing danger in the middle east instead of sending tired reservists with families or our young, law-abiding men to their dismemberment and deaths?

I think it would be appropriate, not cruel and unjust punishment, to put such vicious criminals to real work: that of hunting down and eliminating terrorists. Maybe then they'd learn how to make it in society, because they'd have to live by their wit & RULES.

What do you think of this?

I would definitely, he is a great president. I just don't agree with him at one issue: Global Warming. The rest of his policy is pretty good.

On a scale of 1 - 7 (with 1 being far left-wing, 4 being middle of the road, and 7 being far right-wing) where would you place guys like Sean who think the media is right-wing?

Personally, I place the media at about 2.5 and myself at about 5.5 on that scale.

John Edwards cheated Medicare and our grandparents out of $700,000 in Medicare taxes by using what is now called the "John Edwards Shelter."

The IRS is working to get rid of it. Rich Democrats won't be able to crap on Americans again.

Have you ever used that shelter?

Their leaders are telling us that they want to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Koran, according to the founder of CAIR, the Council for American-Islamic relations. I do not want to live in a world where I am FORCED to become a Muslim. As a matter of fact, I do not want to become Muslim at all. I say live and let live. I like that the U.S. is predominantly Christian. What can be done to keep it that way?
