I can understand harsher sanctions against Iran and pre-emptive strikes against nuclear facilities and uranium enrichment sites by Israel, but Hillary Clinton is running on the premise of talks leading to a possible military confrontation and all-out war between the U.S. and Iran.

Far more people have died while executing the "War on Drugs". Neither of these so called "wars" are able to be won. In my opinion, as long as people preach hate on a fundamental level, there will always be fanatical religious extremism, and intolerance. You cant dismiss the human side of it. Much like the "War" on drugs. It's humanity makes it invincible. There will not be a time in the near future where we will see its end.

So many have said that George Bushes strageties are not working and that we will have terrorism forever. Do you think that Iran will unite the whole middle east to attack us in Iraq??? If that happened it could be the next World War 3: Holy War Against Terror.

Last year, a report titled “Trends in Global Terrorism: Implications for the United States,’’ that was prepared by 16 U.S. spy agencies, the first formal appraisal of global terrorism by the U.S. intelligence agencies since the Iraq war began, found that international terrorism rather than being in retreat, has metastasized and spread across the globe.

The report said that “The Iraq war has made the overall terrorism problem worse."

do u think this is a good intro for a speech: topic is opposing the iraq war:
Wars: these bloody events have been occurring over centuries, as long as one can remember; World War I and II, the Vietnam War, civil wars in numerous nations and many more. Though the outcomes of these dreadful events often bring goods into the winning side, the triumph still cannot sufficiently make up for what was lost during the war: lives, homes and peace. Unfortunately, we are also living in a time of war: the war that was started by terrorism and the dreadful collapse of the twin towers of USA; the Iraq war. This war, fought on Iraq grounds almost half-way around the world, seems so far away to us, the general public, so what’s it to us that we should care? It doesn’t affect us directly and we don’t have to fight it, so why should we waste time with this? Well, it does matter. It matters that everyday soldiers are dying out there from bombing, shootings and ambushes. It matters that this war has...

Okay, I'd first like to take this opportunity to thank all veterans, past and present. I may not always (as in EVER) agree with Bush's policies, but I appreciate the fact that you all are willing to fight (and possibly die) so that I don't have to. Seriously. Thank you.
My question is this: when you've been overseas at war, what is the first thing you've done when getting home? How have you changed?

With the government banning smoking in public places and companies stopping their employees from smoking at work is there any point in the government legalising cannabis? It could be used for medical purposes but if you can only smoke at home is it relevant anymore?

So, my situation is, I'm 19, unemployed and rent at my parents house... I have my own car which I pay for and again, I pay my own rent and everything. Anyway, since I've been unemployed for a month and a half and have only received one check for $207... I've been pretty damn broke recently so I decided I should go apply for food stamps... well, since I'm younger than 22 and live in my parents home (I PAY RENT) I do not qualify! I've worked since I was 16 years old and have always been a responsible person! How could this happen? The woman who helped me said there was nothing she could do... doesn't that seem like a lie? I've seen many people abuse the system and I'm truely someone who needs this and should be entitles to the help since I am a US citizen!
